Coll v Makin in round 1 is crazy. And empty stands!?!? That’s sad
the angle from behind the glass wall at 1:03:18 needs to be used more, gives you a much better look at the movements of the players and the different subtleties they use. its often hard to appreciate all this from the usual angle higher up

WALLER seems to be using every ploy possible to delay the game, by unsportsmanlike tactics! Disappointing! Ps: I can’t remember the last time MAKIN beat COLL in, straight sets!! Wow! On fire! I say this as a fellow left hander! god! He looks so ungainly and awkward but, so do most, but not all! NICK WALL ( who is also a leftie) has a very attractive and watchable technique.
Colls backhand… one of the most unpleasant sights to ever lay your eyes on. Jesus
Calm yourself mate. Yes it's quite mechanical but his backhand is technically sound.
Techniques can vary significantly. No one would ever teach the trainwreck that is Hesham’s swing but he makes it work at an amazing level. The mechanical nature of Coll is reminiscent of Nick Matthew, who took a mechanical technique to the top of the tour for more than a decade. If it works it works.
