In awe at what Farag did in this match. He would have been fasting for at least 12 hours by the time they reached the nail biting ending of the 3rd set. Unfortunately the break after that did not reach the break fast time of 6.13pm so he had to continue with a total glucose and water deplete body for the 4th set. It is almost a health hazard to play in those conditions but of course it is totally his choice to make. Coll is probably within the top 3 fittest players in the world. Incredible game, kudos to both players though, it was very watchable and a joy.
Who cares ? His religeous habits are voluntary and his personal choice. Non muslim players have personal life problems, like everyone does, but you don't hear them making excuses.
That is just absolute heroism by Ali, I always respected both of these players highly but Ali is an absolutely amazing human being for being so disciplined through Ramadan to do this. He will surely be blessed by the almighty. He deserves much respect. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@DirtyOatmilk he's used to playing while fasting. He won the British open for the first time while fasting. Shorbagy brothers usually don't fast. It's up to the individual whether they want to make up the fast later or continue the fast.
Too much commentry about "Fasting" ! His religeous habbits are up to him. I'm pretty sick about hearing about this from the commentators. The non-muslim players, just get on with it.
@@zikkizain3983 We don't care about your religious fasting habits. Just get on with squash. When you've got an interesting contribution to make, we'll listen. Until then, shut it.
@@richardpeters4086 well the squash is almost completely dependent on the physical condition of farag so it does have quite a lot to do with the fasting

@@richardpeters4086you can be in awe of what someone managed to achieve without agreeing with why they did it
Sportsmanship between these two is so nice to see (: Perhaps this too is a quality one ought to develop in order to have good outcomes in one's career
Love the sportsmanship between these two.
thanks for publishing this wonderful match Squashtv
Wow what a match. Colls so fit man 😅
Amazing.. both absolute warriors!
WOW!! that was another level.
Wow. Unbelievable effort but as you pointed out it’s really dangerous. The powers that be really need to find a solution

I applaud his disciplne too; however, I can't help but think his God wouldn't mind if he took on some food and water to help him stay on point.
Should ave ad a bacon sarnie for energy
The great farag❤
With fasting such game
Out of the world
My winner farag
Il est doué ce jeune
Can’t understand why the Iman can’t give Farah a “”pass” on the fasting for one day. No competition at the end.
That's not what it's about. The poor don't get to have a pass for one day either
Imams have no control over such a matter. It's a straight connection between God and individuals. Farag is allowed to not fast but he choose to fast
But you are allowed to reschedule your fast if you’re travelling, so why not do that?

What's it got to do with an Iman? (Showing your ignorance:-/).
Please stop the spoiler comments....😢
Coll 🎉
Why didn't they delay the start of the match until after Farag could have broken his fast??
Is this live ?
I believe so
It was played months ago.
❤
Why was bro moaning at 25:27
Nice video, thanks. Commentators know nothing about fasting, came up with all sorts of rubbish like a couple of old women.
I'd like to watch the game without constant waffle by the commentators.
I feel like the match wouldve ended a lot sooner if farag wasnt fasting
Jehangir khan was a legend of this game ! A Pakistani ..these guys dominated this game world over in seventies -era of this game 👍
this was amazing. Farag lost but with honor.
Ruined the video before the ads had even finished
I totally respect and admire Farag. All the work in strength and conditioning paid off right here for Coll...
Thanks for that! I don't need to watch it now do I??
Okay massive spoiler, can you please delete the spoiling part of your comment?

All the other 500 world tour players, don't use religion as an "excuse" !
At 20:40 the ball was not good.
Referee dropped the ball in this match
Not a victory against a man fasting
it is boring, you put both players on the same side of the wall, then it is all about let and stroke
Not as boring as you are to your friends!
