Lovely bike got mine in1979 put half fairing on it,crash bars front and back ,with top box.It was a fantastic touring bike with great economy. lovely video thanks
@@captbarb6642 It was a couple of years old R reg and the previous owner sprayed it a ford metallic purple. Loved the bike only paid £300 for it, the only bit I didn't like were the brakes, either all or nothing😊 but still a great sounding bike, I had the simson 50 and the Mz 125 as well, I really liked the bikes at the time. Glad you have kept one for future riders to enjoy basic motorbike riding.
Lep motor. Meni je otac kupio MZ 250 etz 1988.srebrno sivi sa prednjim diskom i kosim auspuhom. I dan danas mi je žao što sam ga prodao. Pozdrav iz Srbije.
Looking good, sounding great, job well done, probably not many of these left now. The tank reminds me of a Honda CB72. They made a great job of the speedo/tacho mounts, very simple neat design.
@@captbarb6642 The design of the Supa 5 was "borrowed" from the Honda models of the 1960s. At the end of the 70s, it naturally looked "a bit old-fashioned"😉😁
Thanks for your response I did have a running issue but after adjusting float height and main jet needle height it revs cleanly with no bogging down .So it will get some use in the future .
@@captbarb6642 I am pleased that the machine is now running well and I am sure that you will solve all the problems.👍🙂 I look forward to more with your Supa 5.🙂🙃 The Supa 5 will never be as significant as a "Brough Superior"😉😁😉, but in this day and age it is something special I think.🙂😉
That’s a lovely bike ! I love the way you raised the seat with the rubber mounts. I have a TS250 4 speed and would love to do the same with my seat. Can you tell me where you got them please ?
Thanks for your reply I can tell you they are rubbers from a refrigeration compressor , if you know a fridge engineer ask him . Do you live near Norfolk?
It's a pun to the movie with the GP racer who defected and sold his sole to Suzuki and paid the price in the end. Ernest Degnar. The missile from the East

Fab looking bike! Personally I always preferred the smaller TSs, currently own 1986 125 Alpine, condition like yours. Only cost a grand. Love it.
Couldn't agree more just love the thing to bits
Amazing - that's super brilliant! Perfection!
Thanks Jeff it's been a nice project I think anybody could do one of these bikes it's great fun to ride being two stroke .
Absolutely stunning, well done. I had a 1980 TS and restored it. Great little bikes and loads of fun. 🫡
Have you still got it
Sadly, no. Sold it 6 years ago for £1.7k
Many years ago I have exactly same mz. With chrome plates on tank. I replaced TS engine with ETZ engine.
Thanks so you still wish you had it today .
And now we want to see a tour of East Anglia on the Supa 5!😁😁😁
