    One of my favorite parts is George's and that change of notes from the first syllable of "tak-ing" to the second and then again "her-a" then "way from" holds the one note. It's like that perfect twist of melody without overdoing it (and it's a BLAST to sing that part!!) I hear George's part naturally in this. HOWEVER, John's part in "If I Fell" has sent me screaming into the night!

    Dear Galeazzo:
    Finding your Beatles Vocal Harmonies great collection of tutorial videos has been one of my very best Internet findings. You are a very talented musician and an excellent teacher. I have enjoyed playing, over and over again, your instructional videos. I grow up, in my late teens (63 - 65), with the first Beatles songs, and through my life I have continued been a passionate Beatles fan and an addicted listener. I also love music and I have a home digital mini-studio. I play guitar, keyboard and drums, at medium proficiency level, just to enjoy myself, on my spare time. Before watching your videos, I had no idea of the complexity and exquisite integration of John, Paul and George's voices. It is really impressive the level of analysis that you have done of their voice harmonics, when they perform my also very favorite songs, and the clear and meaningful way that you explain and demonstrate how to sing each of them. Now, every day, I am practicing following your tutorials and singing along with you to understand and learn each of the voices. It is so much fun..!!! I want to thank you and recognize your kindness for sharing with us your knowledge and expertise. After watching your tutorials, I have developed the ability to listen the Beatles songs in a very new and exciting way. You have opened for me an incredible new dimension of musical enjoyment of the Beatles songs. Please keep up your excellent work. I am extremely grateful..!!! Sincerely, George.

      listen to the song so will u he's saying Pauls vocal it's also George. I'm hurting listening not mentioning the best part of the song when John sings low and soft you're going to loose thst. best part of the song he missed it.

  • @jeffcarney2375
    @jeffcarney2375 9 років тому +1

    You're right that John was at the top of his rock-and-roll voice on this song. I think that generally about what I call the middle albums: Help, Rubber Soul, and Revolver. The lyrics may not be as advanced as later on, but when I think "Beatle voice," these are the songs my mind takes me too.

    Awesome! It's amazing to me how you hear every nuance. I am not very good at harmony, and unless YOU break it down, I only hear the main melody. LOL Thank you so much for putting these tutorials together. Its because of YOU I am getting better at understanding harmony, chewing my words, writing down the breaths needed next to the lyrics, etc. Big difference. You make it easier to understand.

    Oh, thank you, Galeazzo! This is also one of my favorites. When I was 12 in 1965, my brother, his friend and his brother, my best friend (2 pairs of brother/friends) started a rock copy band, The Betas (a tropical FISH, not a misspell of Beatles). I was so young my voice hadn't changed yet, so sang only backing vocals. It was still lots of fun, especially for the girls, of course (Santa Cruz, CA)! My brother still plays, at 63. Thanks for showing the intricacies of their harmonies. Ours: simple

    Nothing but THANKS to you! You are an excellent teacher - I know first hand and am also married to one. But your love and appreciation for the Beatles is obvious as you seem to have captured and explained their musical genius in an era of simple music (the 60s). You have a great voice as well. I am challenged to once again try to record This Boy by myself. It's my fav Beatles song. Keep recording!!
