It’s been almost 2 and a half years. I remember Vince in a live stream saying “It won’t take 2 years like Chapter 4”. That aged poorly 🥲
I always thought that chapter 5 would realese mid/late 2024, around September. If they delay it to 2025, im actually going into madness.

I dont really like that vince hasnt shown us the demo yet. Many people paid hundreds to fly to the booth and play it and it wasnt there, only for vince to say it will be released next week and then ghost us. People wasted a lot of money for this and vince doesnt really do much about it...
I mean, I’m trying to be patient but this is getting kind of ridiculous 😭 first they said they would show a demo, they didn’t, then they ghosted us, and now it’s probably gonna get pushed to 2025? I get that these games take time but come on, if you don’t have something ready then don’t make empty promises. Plus this whole waiting for other indie games to release is like a cheap excuse by now

Actually, the use of artificial intelligence is not the best way to go. We don’t want whole problem with people getting replaced with artificial intelligence. Because people are bothered by that that’s their voice, and you need their consent. it will be wrong of them to use artificial intelligence it will be going against the actors consent. If you’re talking about using artificial intelligence, the code the game that’s not good either they can create more problems then solve if you’re using artificial intelligence to code In my car is more promos because it might add more bugs. Maybe there will be an error code that cause bugs and glitches that will need to be patched up and some bugs and glitches will need to be patched up by hand, using the sense of artificial intelligence when it make too much sense. I don’t know of close to entertainment will just hire people just like that here in there you said you wanted them to get professionals but at the end of the day you got those professionals need to get paid and we don’t know how money their willing to spend on professionals because maybe hiring that professional might go over budget and there’s gotta be things that have to think about because they want to use the money sparingly you know for design acting 3-D models, rendering,coding,scripting, music retakes for the voice actors they did a hired, the guy who played Jax Mortal Kombat. We don’t know what their budget is looking like because it’s So it’s too hard to assume if they can do it or if they can’t everyone has their reasons

Yeah I want it to come out in March/April 2024 but there's absolutely no way that's happening. Naturally we would have *A LOT* more teasers by now (voice reveals, portal icon reveals, in game teasers and most importantly the bloody HH demo we've been waiting for) and especially a teaser trailer of some sort. Last time we actually got a teaser for ch5 was back in september and it's now december, which means we are months behind on content and March/April would be the time we're caught up on it all if they decide to get back onto it right now.
I wish the game could be finished in 2024 because I've been waiting for Chapter5 for Ages.

Well I'm atleast hoping for a teaser trailer in quater one or two of 2024 and then the chapter gets released in October-December or unfortunately somewhere in 2025 and if the worst happens it could get cancelled and we would have to sadly move on from it.
if doesnt drop in the next 6 months and if we dont get a teaser by the end of the year i will give up from this game, cause vince is rlly testing our nerves

@@user-cx5hs9hj9q fr i think it was inappropriate that he planned on not showing the demo at TGS a while before it but kept lying to everyone saying it was going to be there until the day before it was supposed to be shown (some people bought tickets and a hotel for tokyo for that and they were mad). then he said its coming the week after TGS but it's been like 3 months...

It takes so much time talent and work into what devs do especially glow stick but not sure if they bit off more than they can chew and are making projects to varying levels of success.

It is so nice for other indie game developers. To delay their release dates. So that other indie games can shine. I am so down for that decision. I love both Dark Deception and Poppy Playtime. And I would hate for one to get over shadowed by the other.

Honestly these little developer studios are so annoying, they create a really unique popular game that everyone loves, and then without finishing that game they create a spin off game (monsters and mortals) from that game that they also have to spend time developing. Then when you press them about why the original game is taking so long it’s always “we’re a small team” and “we need time” yet you’re dividing your resources between two games and of them half of us couldn’t care about. Poppy playtime is also doing this with project playtime 🙄 finish your main game first and then make a spinoff so you don’t have to deal with people complaining🙄🙄🙄

it's a little dissaponinted that some of the fans are not patient and act like spoiled children throwing a tantrum, just as it is disappointing that they do not have the patience to wait for a game, in addition to the fact that they forget that they are also people just like us, And when it comes to death threats over a game, that was time out and I do encourage anyone who knows them to report them to the police and permanently ban them from other games and platforms. For example, because of the delays, I understand them and I don't do anything. tantrums but I wait patiently while I play other games

Developing a game is tough. I can't do it myself, I lack the skill.
However, developing a game whilst dealing with real-life drama certainly slowed Glowstick Entertainment down.
Imagine dealing with a family emergancy (someone got sent to ER), legal battles (against Monster Energy), the whole Unity dilemma, and the Writers Strike in one year. That'd slow anyone down.
Also the pressure from impatient fans.
