Ntm, MC has all these powers now. Earlier then, you didn't have stun until Carnevil. You mostly had to run rather than fight (even during the boss fights, such as against Crazed Agatha in that enclosed gym space)
Honestly I liked the earlier versions of dark deception, something about its refined quality stands out to me unlike Torment Therapy where you literally heard no sound effects or music when the nurses chased you down and one of them climbing onto the ambulance and how cheesy the lines were
Exactly, the first three and the recent three are so different tbh. +Bearly Buried felt wasted to me, early design concepts that showed the creepy mama bear with teddies flowing out of her stomach were so cool. Her vibe was ruined when they decided to make her big and have weird ass animations. Hopefully they keep the creepy aesthetic in the mannequins level and get rid of the big = scary idea
True, not to mention Telepathy was more useful during the release of Chapter 3 as it's already a spell you do not want to upgrade the most even when you deal with the ducks.
I felt a terrible anxiety and chill up my spine, and I imagine myself in the exhausts and I was too scared in Mascot Mayhem. That knowledge that you can't beat him and that surpasses more than his gang, he was about to escape but he didn't make it. He was left alive at Malak's request to torment him on the mother bear level. What bloody impotence and terror I have in my body.

I missed it when the only boss fights were the Doom Ducky, and against the Goliath Clowns. All these new boss fights takes the horror out of this horror game.

All of a sudden, Doom Ducky is chasing us! All the dread duckies on the side just dancing. And then, once you think it's all over, Doom Ducky jumpscares you one last time. God dang 😮
