2 - Adrenaline Skills:
TIEBREAK Early Access 4 sees the addition of Adrenaline Skills, a completely new gameplay feature. Adrenaline Skills allow you to modify your strokes and movement during matches. Adrenaline accumulates during matches, Applying power to a shot, winning contested points such as clutch points, long rallies, and breakpoints will all add to the Adrenaline Bar. Used for both offensive or defensive purposes, Adrenaline allows for greater, deeper strategy during points, to help you recover or play that winner at just the right time.
To execute Adrenaline Skills, hold down RB, and press one of the stroke buttons (Y, X, A). The amount of adrenaline required and consumed whenever executing shots is displayed on corresponding icons.
Note: This feature will be expanded to allow further customisation in TIEBREAK Early Access 5.
3 - Stamina:
TIEBREAK Early Access 4 implements a stamina bar to display your fatigue levels throughout a match. Your Stamina will be directly affected by the amount of power applied to your strokes, on-court movement, and lunges.
Stamina can be regained while stationary during points, resting after games and at the end of each set. You will notice that as the Stamina bar is depleted your movement around the court will be impacted.
4 - Nitto Finals:
Experience the end-of-Year ATP Tournament, the Nitto Finals. Take on the current best in the world in round-robin and knockout tournaments to determine who is truly the champion!
5 - Online Scheduled Tournaments:
TIEBREAK Early Access 4 sees the addition of all remaining ATP/WTA 1000 tournaments to online. Fight to the top of the leaderboard for each tournament, add ranking points to your overall season tally and make World Number 1!
Note: Each scheduled tournament will last two days for those who want to take their online gameplay to the next level.
First time i cand say it look ok. But faaaar from good. Hope it continues to improve
Honestly, this looks more promising than Top Spin. The shotmaking seem different, you see flat shots, slice and top spins. Also, players miss! The lenght of the rallies in TopSpin 2k25 is too long and you either have a winner or the rally goes on forever with an average rally of 15+ balls. Here a lot of the balls that don't go deep and the player should be able to hit a winner, the player actually hits a winner! If he is in a bad position and makes a bad shot decision, the ball often misses. This looks more like tennis to me.
They really need to tighten up this gameplay is way off, the animations great but the timing and movement is so bizarre
There's improvement but serious work is needed still they shouldn't be struggling to pick up the ball so much when both guys are hitting the ball with topspin
The custom animations for each player are not bad at all, in fact you can understand very well which player it is. On this I think it is superior to Top Spin 2K25, but from a gameplay point of view there is still some work to do. With such active developers and frequent updates I think a great game will come out of it!
vecchio ma hai visto il video o eri di schiena? animazioni superiori a 2k25?!? Alcaraz ha letteralmente 1 dritto custom e 1 rovescio, che gioca qualche volta oltre al servizio, Dimitrov il servizio e basta, tutto il resto sono quelle animazioni epilettiche e rotte standard che hanno tutti gli altri, su Top Spin Federer e la Williams hanno più tipi di dritti e rovesci loro, più il servizio, poi Medvedev, la Swiatek, anche la Raducanu e la Gauff hanno un dritto simile al loro e un servizio diverso dallo standard, Tiafoe ha un dritto carino anche ma soprattutto le animazioni di movimento sono completamente diverse, qui siamo a un livello disastroso, quando si attiva l'animazione della scivolata rallentano senza motivo, in slow motion, poi sono tutti buggini che corrono da una parte all'altra tipo Rayman 2 hahahhaha ma che stiamo dicendo su

Alcaraz looks better than on Too Spin 2K25, but still far from decent (seriously, why is it so hard to make a decent 3D model of him?) Gameplay is still miles away from good as well
Alcaraz likeness is near spot on in Tiebreak what are you looking at,compared to 2k25 model of Alcaraz and who is that model supposed to be as Pete Sampras in 2k25 what a joke.
I'm really rooting for this game. The player models look great, the player serves and strokes are much more like their authentic selves than Top Spin where they are pretty generic, the roster is amazing, apparently they will have over 100 ATP tournaments, amazing player and venue customization. As much as gameplay is 1)A), having a large roster is 1)B). At minimum, you need 128 players for each men and women to run a proper tournament. I know previous Big Ant games haven't been great; however, it does seem like they have increased their budget for this game. The fact that they are officially representing ATP and WTA and want to make sure it stays that way should be a big motivator to put your best foot forward. They are also doing a Novak showcase which shows additional resources are being put in. Perhaps all it takes is adding one or two new developers to the team and the end product is hopefully much different. The game play still needs more work but I guess hoping that they can pull it all together. It is getting better just some awkward shots that look out of place at times.
I have been playing Top Spin since release date. It has it's own issues too. Very thin offline, online issues, minimum effort with some of the player likeness, even Rodger looks okay at best, no community creation, terrible roster, servicing is a bit weird, locked venues for no reason and VC. No matter how much we like Top Spin, I think most of us agree that they cut a lot of corners.
This is Bigant’s third try at making a decent tennis game. Both times previous have been meh, to put it mildly. The signs are not looking good considering they are not looking like they will fix the biggest issue with the game, the gameplay mechanic itself. These pre-production demos are red flags. I caution us not to be too hopeful, because early indicators show its the same old shit.
Fourth actually, AO Tennis, AO Tennis 2, Tennis World Tour 2 and now this one. I don't think many people realise they also were attached to TWT 2, likely because it didn't have the usual features of their other games

Players animations are getting to the good side. Shot making is fine but some defense shots looks weird and there's always the volley, no tennis game is able to reproduce that correctly... 95% of the volleys are either an unforced errors or a winner after the 1st shot. It feels weird to have multiple shots at the net and the direction of the ball has too much curve, it feels like a top spin shot that goes up and down, it should look like a hard shot going down and fast.
How does it play now, after the update?
Nice drop shot at 1:57, but there's stil a lot of work to do. A step ahead, but it's not enough.
Cant tell if they're ice skating or playing tennis.

Getting better but as for gameplay nothing can touch Full Ace Tennis Simulator, its just the graphics are atrocious with that game but even so I would still choose it over this or Top Spin.
tried that game and was quick to refund it, I mean it plays well but I found it has too much of a steep learning curve and lot of people will sadly be put off it by that.

lol is Bug Ant trying to make this game look more like Tennis Elbow or what.... 😂😂😂 cause the forehand and backhand animations are looking similar. man I could never go back to Bug Ant games after playing 2k25.

It has improved a bit, but it's still a long way off being a good tennis game. So many people seem to think I'm just dead against anything Big Ant does, but if the majority knew the frustrations of anyone who has played their games over the past 7-8 years, will know they've often bit off more than they could chew. The fact is, this is their fourth attempt at a tennis game, the focus seems to be too heavy on graphics and less spent fixing clunky animations and awkward movement
Yep and developers haven't been lazy unlike topspin, great player models, loads of animations (serves, forehand and backhands) also the animations looks like the real players animations, movement feels better and net play has been improved

the heart of Tiebreak / Ao Tennis (not Twt 2) is work as a simulation Game. This Suits better to me.
Of course there is a Long way to it but for example I spent more hours in AO 2 than TS4 with that awful carreer mode

people saying this has improved make me laugh so hard. How many of you even have the game? 😂 it’s barely improved even though it’s much easier to improve when you start at 0. This is the peak gameplay wise
I do have this game and this patch feels much better than the previous patch. There's definite improvement. I also have Top Spin and while Top Spin's gameplay is better, after this patch I don't think Tiebreak is THAT far behind. I'm quite surprised how much more enjoyable it is now.

JohnnyD ya sicckant! How are you finding Tiebreak compared to Topspin2k25? I hope both games succeed, love a good competition between games which is good for the consumers!
I enjoy the gameplay more in Top Spin, but it’s been a bit of a letdown overall. Tiebreak needs a lot of work, but my optimism is low given Big Ants history
