  • There are lots of suggestions for best first mods when it comes to the Infiniti 3.0t, but there is really one upgrade that stands in its own and should really be considered for your Q50 or Q60!

    So what brand of heat exchange would you recommend?
    I've seen some on the Infiniti web site, but are those upgrades or just stock replacement heat exchangers?
    2020 Q50 3.0t AWD.
    Thanks in advance.

      If your tpms sensor is seeing pressure, it should just reset. Or disconnect your battery for a bit.

    Kinda a weird take to me. I wonder how many q50 owners are pushing the car to the point where they are loosing power due to heat soak. By all means do maintance mods, I think the 3.0t is reliable enough where I would do this after wheels and suspension.
    A bit of this also just feels like finding a mod, that doesnt require any other form of work/money to be put in, at which point, new steering wheels, new shift knob are all things people could feel as well, or staining the god awful interior roof color. (I hate it so much)

      Every single person still running a stock heat exchanger is especially if the outside Temps are 80+ heat exchanger is the best first mod hands down if you want to put your foot down

      These cars heat soak stock after 1-2 bursts of speed, on-ramp etc. Numerous data to prove this, it’s a mistake on infinitis end, cutting costs. Your charge air temp is going to be insanely high. Sure grandma doesn’t care, but anybody else should. I don’t know where u get info but the 3.0T is not reliable enough.

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  28 днів тому

      Heat soak is a real issue. If you want to do any spirited driving at all, you’ll very quickly find the limits of the factory heat exchanger. New steering wheel is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but when you’re out really driving the car, your disappointment in its diminished performance will far outweigh the nice steering wheel

    • @theglassarrow_
      @theglassarrow_ 28 днів тому

      I just wonder how many people are driving q50-q60 hard enough to justify worrying about heat soak is all. These cars are very far from track cars with there open diffs and extra weight (them seats are like 70lb).
