    Ingredients for the Garlic Knots
    4-1/2 Cups Bread Flour
    4 Tbsp Sugar
    1 Tsp Salt
    1 Tablespoon Yeast
    3 Tbsp Butter
    2 Eggs
    1-1/2 cups Milk warm
    2 Tsp garlic powder
    chopped scallions
    For the Garlic Butter
    1 clove Garlic
    2 cup unsalted butter
    Pinch of salt Optional
    Chopped Parsley Rosemary, Chives or scallion

    I made these last night. THEY WERE DELICIOUS! I was scared to make them since in the past, I didn’t have really good results when baking with yeast. I would always have hard dough. This recipe came out soft, fluffy, cloudy, and it tasted great. The only things I would change is maybe adding two teaspoons of salt in the batter since it did lack a little salt. I served them with tomato marinara sauce and they were divine. I tried some with cheese in the middle and topped them off with a little bit of Parmesan cheese. It is better eaten fresh out of the oven and they aren’t as good the next day. This recipe made a lot for me so next time I would just either make half or make it and freeze half for another time. Thank you so much for sharing! My family loved them!

    I made these a few days ago and my dad said they were the best homemade bread he has ever eaten!! This recipe is so easy and tastes amazing I highly recommend trying it out!

    I had not known of Garlic Knots until I accessed BJ's Restaurant takeout menu & learned that they were not included with orders. Being curious, I found your youtube video. First of all, I loved your soft voice as you gave instructions. Thank you for teaching me how to make these little bread treats. I can hardly wait to make them for my friends at church.

    Hi these look delicious and I tried them too I faced many problems..they were oversized and while baking they were not browning from the top but base was dark brown & hard..also the bread was not smooth from out. After my struggle I did enjoy the taste of it but I need help with there troubleshooting areas..the smoothness, the colour, oven heating rods..please help as I want to make them again

    I have made these 3 times in the last month. Hands down the best garlic knots I’ve ever had. My families favourite. Followed exact recipe first two times. This time I added fresh Parmesan cheese. So so good 😋

    Hi, 1. you wrote in site (Brush the surface of the dough with some melted butter) , but in the video you brushed it with egg.
    2. I use exactly your ingredients, but put aside the half cup of flour (just in case), but even though the dough didn't get wet and sticky as the video, so I added additional half cup of water.

      I skip eggs if I don’t have one in my kitchen and instead add more unsalted butter (it is not a substitute though)

      You could just skip eggs and add more unsalted butter. Have you ever tried? It’s not a substitute but makes soft dough
