These are the types of videos we need to see more of. For those new to pouring it can be frustrating and sometimes cause folks to give it up because they keep getting 'mud'. I know I learned early on to really understand the color wheel and color theory. Just a simple thing like stacking colors wrong can ruin a painting. I'd like to see you and Olga and Molly stress this a bit more. You are each so accomplished and knowledgeable and that you make it look so simple. And it really is if you know the basic rules at the start. Thanks for this one. Best to you and yours..
So good to see you since your little man appeared so early. Glad you’re recovering & getting stronger! Thanks for the explanation. I’ll have to watch again to write down the order of paints - no problem as you bring such joy to all of us xx
Thanks for the paint theory. I didn’t/don’t fully understand how paint layers, but you provided some great information. I also agree they both look great!
Thanks for this video , it erased my doubts, I intuitively discard use too many colors, but the difference between them versus it’s dependence from one to the other related to it’s mix and creating another colors or values I believe has to be study and test an this video brings to me the ways to better organize this on my ways and designs ideas. A lot of value get this tips from you, thanks .
What a good reminder for all of us to take a step back to the beginning and remember what we learned when we first began to study art. I do t even give the color wheel a thought when starting a new painting. I should be thinking it out first as well as trying the color mixes on paper as well. I don’t know about acrylic paint but I do know that some watercolors push other colors away and some kind of shrink into themselves. It’s important to know that. Does acrylic behave like that. How will they look as they blend. Not by my mixing but just by placing them next to each other. It’s time for experiments with acrylic. Thank you for reminding of the beginning things I’ve forgotten about!
So happy to see you giving us another experience of how to layer the colours to give a better result. Hope you and your baby are doing good. Love to you and your family. ❤️😘
I love the side by side comparison vs just explaining it and doing one. Ironically i was in a similar color palette situation not paint related, but i had my hair green and the front orange. Knowing the color wheel well made changing the green pretty easy though people say it's kinda stubborn when it comes to hair. But i knew i had to be selective with changing the orange without wanting to bleach. Was able to combine a blue base pink, with left over orange and hint of magenta and it worked well. I love how my passion for multi color eyeshadow and blending, and love for changing hair color comes in handy when thinking about how my paints will blend. Alas i still struggle with dutch pour and bloom 2 techniques i love so much. Thank you for the great video!
Congratulations For the addition to your family. I trust your baby boy is growing healthy and strong. It’s wonderful to see you looking radiant and beautiful as ever. Thank you for the layering technique video… I really needed that!!! Love and hugs 🤗♥️
This was awesome!! 😊 Thank you so much for explaining color combinations! Sometimes I tend to get carried away with the colors and think too much...🥺...but the way you explained it was right on for peeps like me. 😊 As always...thank you Rinske for sharing your knowledge....🕊️
Thank you so much for explaining and showing us the layering of the paint. Very informative. I haven't tried this type of art yet, but you've got me hooked!
Hope your little guy is doing wonderful!!💙 it is such an amazing time for you and your family! Enjoy every second! Really enjoyed the comparisons! Take care!💙
Good to know about color layering. Seems to dull look as you mentioned and other colors more vibrant good to know how it effects appearance of painting.
I think with these basic videos where people are learning new skills it would be a good idea to show them what a complementary colour is. A lot of beginners and those who are new to the process wouldn’t know how to get a complementary colour. Colour wheels are probably the best way to explain them.
I really like both pieces but the one on the right with the orange pronounced is really really beautiful. Thank you for sharing your takentbonce again.
O.M.G!!!! I just looked @ mine & I see those I layered wrong! Now I wish it wasn't so late because wanna paint NOW! Lol. My coworker & I watch on breaks @ work. Im new but she's been doing it for awhile. She comments a LOT too! I know because she uses MY phone! Lol. THANKS SO MUCH for sharing your knowledge with us! 😍
Very pretty and interesting info. Thanks. Congrats on your new baby. You need to show us some pics. So happy for you and your hubby. Love to you and your family❤

Interesting tip on not putting a metallic with yellow! I need to pay attention to this as I do it sometimes…. I am going to to try reordering and see if i get a better result 😊 Thanks Rinske

I found out what a color wheel is at the paintstores. It tells you what colors not to lay on top of each other. Its a big help.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
