This...this theme, it screams melancholy, search for the unobtainable and redemption, things that do not define a "villain" but a man who want to fix what's wrong with the world. You made one of my favorites compositions into a stopendous story, where each section shines in its own. You are truly amazing PD since child the "sonar" sound of the submarine was such an impact to me hearinf it in the song. I'm not a big Dr. Doom fan, but damn if there ever was an alpha villain THIS would be it. The dude knows what he wants and gets what he wants. His arrogance and narcissism is just so out of this world its hilariously entertaining how he goes through so much and all he has to do is remind himself; "He is *DOOM*" in order to pass through all the pain, suffering, etc. Almost kinda like how batfans love to justify all the outrageous things batman does, "Because he's batman."
He's moreso a Noble Hero in his own right, he believes the human world would survive only if he ruled it, which is technically true in a timeline standpoint. You hear alpha villain, i hear a guy with layers, onion layers.
Honestly, I never paid so much attention to this track until I recently watched a TAS of MSH and sure is a gorgeous theme, so this extended version is simply so cool. BTW, as you're doing MSH music... how feasible is for you to make an extended version of Psylocke's theme? That's my all-time favorite track from MSH. 💜
