I have a similar xc90 with this same issue. Thank you for this video. With all the rain recently in Palm Springs I’ve been driving around with a wet floor. 🙏🙏🙏
I feel your pain. I soooo disliked the swishing sound when I turned corners. I was forever suctioning the water with a shop vacuum. You'd be amazed at how many gallons of water it'll retain. I'm glad the video was of some help to you.
@@eBoard3R Lol., I guess in my case they brushed it off as something minor or didn't quite understand what I wanted done even though I explained the situation. Nonetheless, it was handled and I learned something new. Lol
Vee, you are so awesome! I have a friend with this issue and found your video first, and you are great! I appreciate your video. I perform all repairs on my autos, home or whatever and you impress me as a wonderful person! Best wishes to you and thank you for your video. Someone taught you right how to handle your business! Great job Vee!!
Thank You. I live where it takes a 2 hour drive to get to a mechanic. I truly appreciate you teaching me how to repair this. Now how to drain the water that is in the undercarriage?
THANK YOU
Thank you Madame, great video and explainations.

Thank you so much for this! I have same issue and now I know what to do. Previously I thought clogging was the issue.

*Whenever I can, I always choose fix stuff myself...* the problem is sometimes I just know I risk makin things worse 😭
🤣🤣, I'm just to damn lazy. I rather someone else do it for me. 🤣🤣
@@VeeEUC a lotta times they take too long to fix stuff or figure out the problem, I'm not always patient enough 😂

Great idea. I'm going to do the same to my XC60 before I have water in my floor. Good job and thanks for the tip.

Now how to drain the water that is in the undercarriage?
go under the car and remove the rubber drain plugs
Volvo and Gotway use the same vendor for waterproofing materials!
