Two-tier system in Canada but only with a luxury tax on private care providers. If you want to skip to the front of the line go ahead, but pay for the privilege with a minimum 50% luxury tax. $10k surgery + $5K tax/$200 checkup + $100 tax that is completely dedicated to supporting public care. Rocket science!

Some Canadians know that there is no real help in our medical fields, so they have just given up trying to access any of it.
Let time take its course.
its all on the politicians and unions.
Secondly, sounds like your doctors are prioritizing other surgeries over non life threatening issues.. just saying.. idk but something seems fishy in your system because it isn’t free healthcare… United States has just as long waiting periods if not longer with those who need surgeries here.. or maybe it’s because you all lack doctors just like the United States
Give health care professionals more money, that always seems to fix the problem. Atleast for a couple months anyway.
Watching my Mom's health decline rapidly, while the Health Care system gives her the run around and doesn't seem to take her health decline seriously..... is infuriating!!!
