For a Nintendo Switch player, this game really scratches that itch for an arena style shooter. Yes they chose to make it a hero shooter, which I don't have a problem with, but the fast pace and short game duration makes it perfect for me. Overwatch 2 is Hot Garbage. Paladins was awesome, but they dropped nintendo switch support. There really isn't another option on Switch other than Splatoon 3. I also love that its cross platform with Mobile. It allows my Son and I to play together without having to have 2 Switches. The loss of couch coop shooters with the release of Xbox one, PS4 and Switch really was a downer.
Honestly I think this game is great, and really hits a spot that no other star wars game has. I love how they have handled the star wars IP with this game--the brand new characters but familiar places to play is great. I totally agree that it needs new game modes, but outside of that its really not a bad game at all. Tunes are pretty balanced besides Pillbush, and as new tunes and maps come back in, older ones like Sprocket, Slingshot, and Char have gotten better (Besides Diago and vex, but they are very vanilla). Is it as competitive as Overwatch? Well, no but its not trying to be; its geared for quick games for more casual players and that has its perks as it is open to star wars fans that dont necessarily "sweat" competitive games. I get that that could bode ill in the long run because usually the hyper competitive players essentially pay for the game and keep it alive; but honestly, if a game like this dies, its due to no new games modes and marketing rather than how competitive it is imho. Battlefront NEVER had the competitive nature of Halo or CoD but it was fun like this is. Second thought, it NEEDS to get added to PC like yesterday and soon for other consoles to increase player-Base, but the game really is perfect for Mobile and Switch.
For sure. On switch, it’s hard to communicate with your group. A simple chat works. Let’s see how the game is on pc. I’m surprised this game runs smoothly on switch.
I played the first season to death, season two I played a decent amount but this season I’m lucky if I remember to play once a week. It kind of lost its charm for me
Same here. I played the game faithfully for years during the beta. I played a lot too on launch but then season 2 came around and the game had kinda lost it's charm for me as well. My friends stopped playing too so that's sad. When the game finally got to Season 3 I had stopped playing it completely. Honestly I don't even know why I keep the app downloaded
@ They just need to have more fun events instead of the same rinse and repeat. I also think the fact with how long the seasons are aren’t helping it and are making people leave quicker
my thoughts are that Hutt ball is pretty lame. I respect that you like it, but if it was added to permanent game modes, i think that we should replace the events section for permanent holo-arcade. i find boulder bash really fun.
This game is great especially when you play with friends and coordinate tactics. I hope they release other console/PC versions and the marketing team gets busy. So much potential here.
Yeah, im worried that this game is going down the tubes. Hutball and trophy are way too similar for me to even care, both game modes are so boring. Ranked is pointless unless you have a 3-4 team of people who at least half know what theyre doing. New characters dont make a game, They just change the meta.
If I’m being honest, I’m a little worried about this games future, I’ve seen a lot of other games go down the path that this game is going down, and let me tell you, it always leads to a slow and painful death😵
It’s a fun game when you are taking a 💩 in the bathroom buts to repetitive and they are making a lot of the quests lately dependent on bring in a party which is whack
I just wish they would stop making Matchup Clash the premier event mode. Matchup Clash honestly isn't that fun. I think I'd enjoy it more if they did more creative things with it like make the whole team made up of one character. They're able to do that with Boulder Bash, so why can't they do that again?
The game was considered a flop and people are not hyped about this. I dropped it after 4 hours since it became repetitive. People want Battlefront, not Outlaws, nor Hunters.
I like Hunters… it has potential if they’d work on it more. I don’t have a point of comparison on the other games as I’ve never played Battlefront or Outlaws.
I enjoyed the newness of the game initially, but after the first season ended and making it to Kyber, it just didn't stick. It's a shame too because I do believe this had a ton of potential. The biggest miss is no PC (not counting bluestacks mod either - not the same) or next Gen consoles. For Star Wars, I'd rather go back to SWBF2, even mess around with SWTOR... and wait for Jedi 3, new KOTOR game, or whatever is in the works coming up next.

Bro spent all night typing this💀
Star Wars hunters need a new way to get new players, if they don’t, all of this game just drifts of into infinity…
I like this game a lot, they need to put in on xbox and ps5

It's a fun game for a few weeks but it gets very stale you are right,I'll keep an eye on it to see if anything changes

I will admit, season 2 was not the best, but i think its still a good game.

@@BrilliantBro 100% agree. I played it during season one every day. Now in season 3 I barely play it once a week

When will skins in game come back and are hunter pass skins exclusive?
Been playing since November 2021 and 200% agree with you

It is impossible to make such a battlefront game for mobile
