I'm honestly blown away by the sheer variety of unique characters and abilities. It looks like this is really shaping up to be more than a flash in the pan free to play game.
the thing that sold me on this game was the creativity of the characters. two jawas standing on top of each other, a robot meant to simulate the powers of a Jedi, etc. I'm so glad they made original characters instead of having pre established ones

Came here to find out why TF there was a droid Jedi. Turns out, the developers of this game are actually intelligent and gave him a believable backstory. And I kinda like it. Good job with J-3D1, devs!

It was basically in soft launch hell for three years. It was originally going to be released in 2021 but kept getting delayed.

Diago has got to be my favorite because he’s a blind sharpshooter who uses his hearing instead and his weapon is just a lever action rifle.
I unlocked him early but I'm not having an easy time with him. Any tips?

He deals more damage when you zoom in for a shot vs hip shotting
Sentinel is my favorite, and one I do get to play this, might be my go to. He's the definition of a tank, and can get additional support incase either A. No one is near to help you B. You suck at defending yourself and C. To help both you and tram mates around you.

J-3DI is probably my favorite. Not only can he deflect shots with his lightsaber, but he can also pull others to him. His special attack is also OP
Unlocked Slingshot recently. His abilities _and_ speed cannot be underestimated, I feel.
Been an absolute beast for me in Power\Dynamic Control modes.
I really appreciate this video. I started playing SWH the second day it was launched. The game has a lot of potential.
My favorites so far have to be the mando, stormtrooper and the imara bounty hunter chick. Especially like the stormtrooper... shame he seems to be the most popular one. Wish you could have multiples of each character per team.

If you trynna repetitively win matches especially on ranked then Id highly consider Using one of each class in casual or training frequently so that way they’re all familiar to you and if need be you can fill a missing role if that makes sense.. Having a solid team with one of each Role can really make a huge difference FR!
Maybe I'm just trash with Zaina, but I dread every match where I'm forced to use her. And it's all because of that slow-firing pistol.....I'll keep practicing with her though.
Nah she's definitely pretty tough to use! Great for the team but very hard to do well individually
Zaina is the tankiest mofo in the game. People just give up if you get good at heals and dodging
I think she’s super broken because of the low cooldown on heal and mobility, damage is ok as well.
But her passive third skill is a waste of space since in most matches, other teammate players just commonly run away from u with Zaina and act all touchy and shit, which just make her final purpose to play her is gone and make her just ridiculously to use on her own, like give us back the throwable land mine that does 200 damage plz, devs!!
ALSO, ALL OF U MUST AGREE WITH ME TO MAKE HER A BIT MORE LESS SQUISHY AND FUN TO PLAY WITH!!!
If this game goes to pc, it will be a league of legends tier game with how much you can play around with use the characters abilities to the max with a team synergy. Switch and mobile limit the master minding game for sure.

I just feel like saying that all these new overwatch clones are forming into more strategic games and that is pretty cool and neat.

You don’t find having no Male Jedi or even a non sith Jedi frustrating. Disney Star Wars is so un inclusive of Certain groups it’s hard for me to believe anybody doesn’t see it. Though I guess if people are still into star wars at this point I am just unwelcome for actually wanting a Male Jedi in a Star Wars Game.

I think if you don't choose before the timer runs out then it just chooses randomly for you!
Don’t know if you found out or not, but the game is actually free! There’s the $15 bonus gems thing you can pre-buy on switch but that’s not for the game. Definitely looking forward to this game too though

Why is there no video talking about specific hunter playstyles & hunters that best synergize together?!? I suppose this vid does kind of talk about hunter playstyle but Id like to see something & bit more indepth.

@@SammyBoiiiSWI am just surprised no1 has even mentioned hunter roles besides the fact you need to learn them. I did read 1 character description saying that hunter particualy hates support hunters, so I try to hunt down support types as my main objective with that hunter.

Hello Sammy, I just started playing on Mobile and I’m wondering what you think the best way to get xo for my characters and level is. Also, how long did it take you to unlock everyone?
It only took me a 2 days to unlock 2 close to 3 characters. Only played a little over an hour a day.
i am just upset that it seems some players have hacked the game to make them harder to kill and somehow get this unstoppable status effect where others cant

The closest we will ever get to Darth Maul is either a Magna Guard or a Royal Bodyguard. So far they've only gone for original characters.

That’s because of a setting called auto fire, and you can turn on manual fire instead

Ngl I tried using j3di and mf doesn't seem to hit unless you stop moving or blocking, it's so annoying. I wish someone would make a damn video on how to properly operate him, bc when I try I block and get up close and personal but I die so quick bc the stupid fuck doesn't swing or try to hit the person

They should add a br mode
J3di is so bad it would be laughable if it wasn't so sad and such a tragedy. His attack speed is half of Rieve so he just does half damage. His grapple doesn't work half the time and when it does you get no dmg from it. Doesnt stun opponent long enough to really combo. He has zero movement options. They just gave him a lightsaber and a block. Thats all. Compared to reive j3 is worthless Garbage tier character. Buff him please. Give him a movement option or something damn. They put zero thought or love into this character. They honestly couldnt care less.
Sounds like a skill issue unfortunately. He's my highest ranked Hunter and has a higher K/D and W/L than all my other Hunters haha he's absolutely a viable Hunter
@@SammyBoiiiSW you're so wrong. He's just a WAY worse reive. By far the worst of all the hunters. It's not even close. Dude deals no damage, zero movement, and not nearly tanky enough the way they made him. I destroy people with rieve. J3di just sucks and offers nothing to a team.
@@SammyBoiiiSW apparently many of the top players in the top 100 put j3di at the bottom as well. it's not a skill issue. J3di is just bad. By far the worst. Not even close.

@@SammyBoiiiSW just because he's your favorite doesn't mean he's good. Look at it objectively. Everything rieve can do and then look at what j3 has. He does half the damage no way to move around the map and the one ability he does have doesn't work and does almost no DMG. Doesn't even stun long enough to finish a kill off compared to every other stun in the game. He has nothing but a lightsaber swing and a block. That's it.

Its embarrassing that marvel rivals has 19 characters on alpha with a total of 39 planned close to launch next year. How long has this game been going through updates over 2 years? and we have like 10? 12 characters?

@@Sparklepharts it's only been 2-3 years since starwars hunters was in alpha I'm pretty sure, and it's only been a month since marvel rivals was in alpha.

Like okay they are getting less funding that dosent change anything it just gives a reason why it's a more shit game and why I'll play another game. its a starwars game for god sake, and they don't have to make all new original characters they can pull from lore and small bounty hunter characters which there are a plethora of. Alot of the characters in the game already seem like an alternative version of another character. Bossk look alike, Chewbacca with hammers, literally just a storm trooper, djin jarin with a paint job etc etc.
