Those crackers sound good, I wish Ross would put more cheese on them though, I don't see a lot of goats cheese in the supermarket and the last time I had some was at the Christmas market, I've never tried maple syrup so don't feel able to make a comment on that. Have a great weekend

Hi Michael! The crackers really were perfect for cheese, and Ross will work on piling on more next time :) You mentioned trying the goats cheese at a Christmas market, do you remember your impression from it? If you do try a syrup with cheese, please let us know what you think, it sounds like an odd paring but works nicely. Have a great weekend too and Happy Friday!

Hi both. We love cheese and crackers. We have it throughout the whole of december: usually before christmas and boxing day. We gather a variety of cheeses, meats, dips and crunchy things like french sticks (small crunchy bread sticks) and numerous types of crackers. Then a selection of stuff for pudding like mince pies, Homemade school cake or sprinkle cake as some call it ( mainly for the kids but we eat it too) and some fruit. We sometimes have homemade sausage rolls too.
Being someone who can't eat a lot of cheese , it's a rare chance i eat normal cheeses lol. Though every now and then i'll get a red leister, a cheese like thenstring cheese or babybells and a cream cheese spreadable like diarylea or laughing cow. As i mentioned previously, i normally get arla cream cheese and cathedral lactose free cheese. I also have plant based butter. I'm ok with sauces and
semi - skim milk (don't use a lot other than a table spoons worth in hot drinks and a low layer in cereal or porridge). Hugs.
Got some good news!. I am now able to wear normal trainers (sneakers). Though i can't walk far and can only stand minimum of 4 hours before my foot hurts. Baby steps lol.
Weather has dropped really low again at night. Brrr. Roll on june, july or august where we are lucky if we have more than 2 weeks of summer lol.
Have a good weekend. I enjoy your videos. Stay warm and healthy. Leon 🇬🇧 xx

Hi Leon, that's great news that you can wear your trainers now. It has been chilly and rainy here, but hopefully warming up by the end of the week. We also have Daylight Savings starting this weekend. It'll be hard to wake up in the dark again! Take care.

A lovely cracker selection, Richard. All sound yummy. I particularly like rosemary and sea salt crackers, but dont think I've had that brand. Loved watching your facial expressions, Ross, when trying some of those cheeses!! (flashback coconut, Tina!!!)
I like goat cheese, but more so cooked in savoury flans or tartes. Love the idea of those different maple syrups. Must try some with a blue cheese. Talking of figs...do they grow there in your beautiful climate? Just thinking that a well-ripened fig would be a delicious cheese pairing. Have a great weekend both of you and hope Finn enjoys his extra nibbles too!

Hi Agranda, Happy Friday! Very big thank you to Richard for generously providing the assortment of tasty crackers. The rosemary crackers were very good, if you have a chance to try them, please let us know what you think of them.
On Ross' facial expression, Tina's revenge :)
Please let us know if you also try a sweet syrup with a blue cheese (chocoloate or honey goes nicely too). Fig trees actually do grow well here, Ross' grandparents once had a fig tree.
Have a great weekend too, thank you for watching! :)

Ross, dont knock it til youve tried it! That was like watching a 5 year old being told he has to eat his carrots 😂 tina youre too nice, I'd be telling him to stop whining 😆
I tried charcoal cheese and was pleasantly surprised. Couldnt taste it, but the texture was amazing. Super super soft.

And we haven't even gotten to the rest of the liquorice yet! 😆Ross did take a little bit. He's been brave with all the cheese I bring home. 🙂 Cheese might be good with the cracker crisps, or maybe a cream cheese dip?

Hi Keza! Asthetically, the aged grey cheese did look on the questionable side but tasted okay :) Happy Friday! :)
