Don't worry about Kirk, Marino had the exact same injury, on the exact same play in '93, he came back with two consecutive PB - AP2 in '94 and '95. Many advancements in procedures and rehab since then.
first time I remember hearing about an achilles going was Dominique. he was 32 and came back and played some of the best of his life. Such an underrated player.
Appreciate yall, we love the vids man! any thoughts on if we trade for reddick for a 3 and maybe a later pick next year, & get a wr at 8 if qbs fly off the board (4 qbs ahead of us?). Or would you rather draft wr round 2, which is what I’ve been wanting us to do, but what do you think is the best route to go?
When they get talent they set on the bench tood Gurley and many more they can't get hurt on the bench let them play the ATLANTA FALCONS the most expensive bench warmer that never got to play football GOD bless them every one🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Adter the top 3 QB's go off the board teams are going to be scrambling for Penix and Nix. Standing pat at 8 is the best way to go since we will be fielding trade up offers.
I think it's 4 QBs off the board before 8. But we'll see... Teams won't reach for a QB they don't like. Look at that 2022 draft, where only 1 QB went in the first two rounds.
They got Logan Woodside on the roster, he might be able to flourish under this regime and scheme. But if they see a quarterback fall to them , it's always a possibility.
@@samueldavis1524 He's a free agent. Brock was playing as a rookie... Woodside is entering his 5th year in the NFL (if someone signs him this year). So, again... I don't put a lot of stock in him. I don't think the Falcons will bring him back. Morris talked today about needing a 3rd QB
Do you guys think that we went too heavy on WRs in FA with such a stacked WR draft class? I understand 1 or 2...but 3? I like Mooney and Moore a lot, but I thought we would use that money elsewhere, and maybe draft a couple receivers. Mooney's contract is very similar to what Danielle Hunter signed for.
This just tells me we're going to be defense heavy in the draft. It was either draft offense, and grab vets for defense or do the opposite. With it being a heavy WR class, they probably knew they needed to make sure they could draft young defensive guys.
Do you guys consider scheme fit? I feel Fields upside is amazing, but if he doesn't have the skill set that you're looking for, then why not get a QB who does?
When it comes to veterans, absolutely. But I also think coordinators can be flexible and adjust their schemes to the talents of their QBs. Every move Atlanta made this offseason told me they didn't value Justin Fields.
@ScottKennedy fair enough, but Zac is a first year OC and I think setting him up to succeed and be comfortable in his first year will go a long way. Sure he's a professional and should be able to fit his scheme to the talent he has on the roster, but as a 40+ year fan I just want feel what it's like to be consistently competitive for a while.
Nah, it's OK to be excited. Don't be an old curmudgeon like me. Not getting your hopes up is a good way to not get let down, but never getting your hopes up makes you a grumpy old guy... ask me how I know ... lol
@@JamaicanTalkShowHost10 think of this..... Houston with a Rookie QB.. did what they did last year. Teams adjust fast... They are at work now.. they will be fine.. RISE UP!!
Its going to be an interesting season. Cousins has been good. Let just remember that in his 12 year career, he has 5 winning seasons. Only 2 with 10+ wins.
If you look at just stats...then you have to include that he is literally a top QB behind or above Breeze, Brady, Manning in the last 10 years...if you go by Wins...well let's not forget that they include about a 12 games of starting (they were actually fill in games for RG111) also played 6 seasons with the terrible ass Redskins and still broke records in passing for them. Also let's clearly remember he hasn't had the same offensive coordinator for 2 years until last year (18-8 btw) and also hasn't had the same coach for more than 2 years either...KC is a legit QB...oh i also remember him being the best come from behing QB behind only Mahommes over the last 5 years...C'mon man stop hating lol
@@scottshaker9906 You need to check your stats with the comeback wins. Not even in the top 10. I'm not saying he can't win us more games. That's literally what they got him here to do.

so sad i missed this. wish you guy got recognition from the falcons. such a good show
we appreciate the support Brennan. Have to be careful getting any kind of official affiliation with a franchise... then you can't be honest... lol

I think Todd Gurley's best days were behind him when he got to Atlanta. He never played again after that season.

Woodside is a free agent best I can tell. Either way, I'm not putting too much stock in a former 7th-round pick with 4 passes in 4 years.
@@ScottKennedy He's the third quarterback. He's cheap and who knows another Brock Purdy could be on the roster.😉

Not really... there's REALLY only one Free Agent WR. The others are depth/special teams pieces. There's absolutely room for a WR2 in the draft.
Julio in his prime on a slant.

KC will drastically improve this offense. Like the guys mentioned, YAC will b a lot more noticeable this yr
