I see Bette Davis!❤ I've never seen a Gene Marshall doll before. The state she was in when you received her I couldn't imagine she could turnout so beautifully.
Wow. As a younger person, I wasn't impressed with Gene for some reason, but like a good professional make up artist, you brought out what she should have been from the start. Marvelous!
That's too nice of you, thanks! I actually love the design behind Gene and Mel Odom as an artist is brilliant, the only thing holding me back from collecting them is the fact that I hate clutter, and these dolls take up A LOT of space..
Fabulous! What a totally amazing job. Not to mention how much I appreciated seeing a Gene being saved. I've been a collector of Gene since she her first debut! Quite honestly I was almost personally offended that someone could be so cruel to poor Gene! Lol!❤
@DoeDeerWonderland Your more than welcome! And yes, absolutely she certainly did look like Miss Crawford by the time you were finished. Forgot to mention that last time!❤️
Right?? And the fashion is just top notch. The scale is a bit off putting, as they take up a lot of space, but I love having one Gene doll in my bedroom as sort of a Boudoir doll
@Doe Deer Wonderland Just bought Twilight Rumba. She's one of my favorites in my collection she definitely has the best hairstyle of the dolls I own. She actually is probably the best detailed doll I have.
I've never actually heard of Gene Marshall dolls before, so I got something fun to look up! I think your doll turned out really well- I love her face and curls.
I would like to see how this doll looks with a heart-shaped beauty mark on her left cheek. I know the makeover was 'inspired' by Bette Davis, but I feel that a beauty mark would add a an extra interest, and help the face feel unique. Great work as always ❤
@@DoeDeerWonderland I do love the beautiful version of her, almost like this is how she sees herself. There are some very realistic looking customised Baby Jane dolls. They're cool, but I do love your inspired version.
Whatever the past person was thinking, I don't know but your Gene Marshall with the essence of Bette Davis is beautiful! and the nod to baby jane outfit is cut. I just did a custom bette davis myself not long ago. it was a defective I love Lucy doll whose eye size and head shape wasn't accurate to the normal dolls It looked more like Bette so I encouraged it with a little lip, eyebrow and some shading. a quick wig and a custom dress order and i got Bette as Margo. I will defiantly be checking out your store.
"You can lose everything else, but you CAN'T lose your TALENT." - Baby Jane 🎬 Everything else is tangible and replaceable in some way. Your talent isn't, so don't lose it - Me 🥰
Betty Davis Eyes! A remarkable likeness. I am amazed at your artistic talent. Now I am gonna have to watch "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane". I was 5 when that movie came out. Oh by the way, some of your tips have helped me a great deal, my dark coffee stained armed Barbie is now fixed. Thanks.
Hii❤ loved the video You worked a lot for this doll get prettier again, bette davis doll really gave that 40s vibe😂 can u tell me the music that you put in that video??
Dear doll friend what you did with your Gene doll was beautiful!🧐But the baby Jane outfit has to go! Please. OBTW, I watched your Midge redo, she turned out lovely! I don't know why they made her so damned ugly?? She's really not a bad looking girl. I have one of each colored hair with the blond I gave her lighter brown & nicer shaped eyebrows, tipped her irises with some iridescent blue acrylic, then gave her lipstick, a raspberry color, and WOW what a pretty change. Thanks for doing what you do!
Is there a reason why you went with benzoyl peroxide first and then with developer (hydrogen peroxide)? I read that benzoyl peroxide can really damage vinyl in the long run…
@@HearYourSoulSing benzoyl peroxide is the least harsh of the two so I started off with that and worked my way up to hydrogen peroxide. Honestly benzoyl peroxide is a staple among all doll collectors for stain removals and I’ve never heard of anyone reporting any damage, so I’m not sure where you got that?
@@DoeDeerWonderland I have a Swirl Ponytail with lip paint that bled all around her mouth, so I’m pretty confused as to what to use to make it go away…
😂 Well I try and explain the products I'm using and what processes I go through in every video. I'm afraid a full-on tutorial would be pretty long and boring for everyone haha
Can you just restore every single doll in the world, please?
That's my mission! 💪😈
I see Bette Davis!❤ I've never seen a Gene Marshall doll before. The state she was in when you received her I couldn't imagine she could turnout so beautifully.
Yay! Glad I'm not the only one then 😂
They are really stunning dolls if you're into old Hollywood.
It was a lot of work but I love the result!
No, definitely Bette!😊❣️
I can finally say Midge was beautiful- she needed that make over desperately 😊
Thanks, but this is not Midge 😂
Please do more Gene and/friends restorations! I love your work
I’d love to!

Right? Why would someone do that to Gene?
Thank you so much ❤️

She has "Betty Davis Eyes".🎵 She looks phenomenal! It was a bit of a bumpy ride.❣
Your Gene Marshall doll makeover turned out really well! She has a very unique look. I hope to add a Gene doll to my collection soon. 🤗
Thank you so much ❤️
They're beautiful! You could hang them from the ceiling like Super Girls!
Thank you! 😂
These dolls are so underrated nice quality dolls that you can get at good prices.

If you're into the old Hollywood era you'll find your new obsession for sure!
She looks Stunning! Good job! Love sleepy eyes dolls!
Thank you so much, so do I!
I have a lovely Gene doll, but she has lived a very good life. She’s a redhead. You did a fabulous job!
Thank you! Gene dolls are really stunning, wish I had more space to display a few!
She’s lovely
Thanks!
Most gorgeous doll
Thank you so much 🥰
I don't know how you keep your hands so well considering how hands on you are along with the elbow grease! =)
Beautiful work!
Thank you!
I love her transformation thanks for another great video they are so relaxing
Thank you very much ☺️
Always love a new video from you. The doll is very glamorous and the eyes have come out gorgeous 👁️

Glad my tips could help!
Thanks!

Beautiful job
Omg thank you!!
@doedeerwonderland of course! I love that you kept her signature little dots on her eyelids. She came came out beautiful 💗
I love that detail, really gives them a Tamara de Lempicka painting vibe. Thanks so much again, you're the best 💕
I have a kitty collier and it took almost 8 months to get the “black pants fade” off her legs. Used the zit cream. Took a while but it came through.
I hate when black clothes stain dolls! Happened to one of my silkstone Barbies and I'm still trying to remove the stain months later 😩
Your voice is so soothing...💙🖖🏽😍
Thank you ❤️
Love it so much ❤️
Thank you! 💕
Such an nice video and interesting doll 💖

Your work is amazing! But I actually see Madonna instead of Bette Davis!
Well, minus the bitterness and arrogance 😅😂
