I love old doll restorations. I have several vintage liccas and it brings me so much joy to see a tired old doll get a new lease on life. I enjoy your restorations and i hope you do more of them!
Thank you! I really enjoy doing restorations and would love to do more, however due to the high price tag of vintage dolls I find myself somewhat limited, but it's fun to alternate between custom work and restorations :)

Fantastic! I have both Ken from 62 and Alan from 64, though Alan disappeared after that, in my opinion, he is the most handsome vintage male doll ever produced by Mattel. I truly enjoyed your entire video including the caring for the clothings as I often do the same thing with every piece of vintage clothing I acquire. For me it is a Labor of love and highly therapeutic, and perhaps just as much as admiring them in their unique beauty and silent reverie standing in their display. This is honestly one of my favorite restorations, I know it's not a girl doll but Alan has such a sweet face and like you said kind of reminds me of vintage advertisements. I think restoration is so important and interesting and your videos are always so calm and nice to watch especially when I'm trying to chill out. Never stop!!

I find most of your videos to be naturally ASMR anyway. This was pleasant to watch. Allan turned out great. Your little tin of sewing closures reminded me of my Grandmother’s sewing box. Great idea to use them!😊

My only note is the acrylics - avoid Apple Barrel, it stains, and stains spread. I used one of their reds to paint lips back on a #4 and it stained immediately.
Yeah I know, fortunately I don't use Apple Barrel because they don't sell them in the UK

Beautiful restoration! I have learned so much from watching your videos!! You are a truly skilled artisan and I cannot wait to see more of your iconic restorations. Question: does the hair developer work on the squishy vinyl faces to help lighten them. This is a common problem I see in these vintage dolls and was wondering if it could help solve that problem :)

I really wouldn't, as it could lighten/ruin the face paint.
Only use if the face paint's already ruined and you plan on giving your doll a total repaint :)

Yes, as long as they're soft and it doesn't feel like you're pulling too hard you're fine

Yes of course, I usually just wiggle them loose after boiling, it's safer than pulling
