- Hi everyone and welcome, today I'll show how I created a miniature room for one of my dolls. It's a real French boudoir, with a beautifull vanity table... can you imagine it is partly made out of cardboard?))) I also used the whole bunch of cutest little items to finish the setting, and I hope you'll enjoy watching this!

Your dolls are not in the least bit creepy, your restorations are the highest quality using traditional techniques. I love your imaginative re-use to create miniature items. It was a welcome respite to view this video. I would love to see the little skier boy on an adventure helping a snowbound resident get either some medicine, or an important item. Everything in a word: Perfect!!

Попалось мне видио другой женщины и после посмотра видио Линды,слезы навернулись,после того,как они делали рестоврацию старинных кукол которым 130 лет.Большие ,в отличном состоянии и была в шоке обращением к одежде и к самим куклам.Чистили обычной зубной щеткой, ожерелье на шее не снимая чистили,да еще современными чистителями.Одежду не стирая,гладили утюгами распаривателями.В мастерской хлам.Думала я о Вас,как же обидно,что такие шедевры к Вам не попали 😔

I love creating a small world for my dolls, and I love those old time periods when there was so much beauty and lovely furniture, surroundings, and architecture. My things are not such high quality as yours, but I have so much fun with them, and love the creativity that shows up in the process. ❤

Я в детстве точно также обустраивала комнату для куклы, используя миниатюрные предметы, остатки текстиля и склеивая кусочки деревянных брусочков. До сих пор нравятся куклы и кукольные домики!

You are a real artist! You created a beautiful room setting for your doll! I loved the tiny perfume bottles! My grandmother wore Shalimar and she got me started wearing it when I was just a child. I inherited her vintage bottle that still had Shalimar in it. Over the years, Ive bought more. I only buy the perfume, not cologne and I found a couple of those tiny Shalimar bottles, full and in their fitted boxes! Ive never worn any from those tiny bottles, I cherish them!

I agree about the router. Always get my husband to do it, too. On a straight piece, I can kind of get it right, but he’s much better at it.

The dressing table is beautiful! So well done. Now I want to try.
For next time, to use cardboard, moisten one side of the cardboard and remove one side of the paper, exposing the corrugated paper. With the corrogate vertical on your pieces, you can create curves. See Sartes videos on UA-cam. Block the curves into place with regular cardboard.
To make cardboard strong, layer two pieces, placing the corrogate in opposition to each other... one running horizontal, the other running vertical.

Fabric was a great idea for the walls, but i would strongly recommend using craft paper as well. It tends to be cheaper and comes in all kinds of small scale designs.
