Bengalis are the reason countries like india and paakistan was born. Bengali province was always an independent nation. Without Bengalis idnia would still be a British colony and paakistan wouldn't even be a name
Thanks a lot for visiting Bangladesh! Your vlogs on Bangladesh are some of the best, it's a shame that they haven’t got much views. Your channel deserves much more attention, great vlogs! :D
You might be right about the ranking of the Bangladeshi passport. I've noticed that different organizations and different websites use different criteria for ranking them. The website that I used had different numbers. But most people seem to refer to the Henley Passport Index, and that has Bangladesh ranked 97th with visa-free entry to 41 countries for 2019. But I think that is a "ranking" of a group of countries. And Bangladesh is in the 97th group of countries. I say that because even though there are 197 countries in the world, the Henley Passport Index only lists 105 of them. The websites I referred to listed all the countries and gave them a ranking, but it also put them in actual number order for the whole world. And when you list all the countries one by one, Bangladesh was 189th on the list. (Also, I was looking at the figures for 2018. The lists for 2019 hadn't been released at that time.) Thanks for the information. 👌
I hope you will visit the other modern and beautiful places in Dhaka like Hatirjheel , National Parliament House, Dhanmondi, Gulshan, Uttara, Baridhara
Allen Ginsberg wrote a poem on the refugees titled ' September on Jessore Road'. And among the concert songs, two of the most famous are Bangladesh by George Harrison and Song of Bangladesh by Joan Baez.
After I visited the museum, I went on the Internet to listen to the songs from the concerts. But I didn't know about Allen Ginsberg's poem. Apparently, he actually flew to Bangladesh in 1971 and visited refugee camps and saw for himself what was happening on Jessore Road at the time. I can't remember if there was an exhibit in the museum about Ginsberg. I know there was one about George Harrison, Joan Baez, and the concerts, though.
Very nice, I would have liked to see the museum of freedom fight from inside. but many thanks for visiting my Country. Myself was several times in your home and it is one of the most beautiful country in the earth.Allah bless u.
Thank you very much. 😊 I'm sorry I couldn't show you the inside of the museum. It was a very interesting museum with a lot of great exhibits. I tried to take some video and pictures with my phone (after they took away my camera), but my phone didn't have enough power left in the battery. It quickly died. 😩
@@PlanetDoug > I wanted to meet you and didn't have anything but your UA-cam channel name and your facebook ID. I knocked you at facebook but you didn't see. By the way, have a good health and live long.
Sorry about that. I just saw your message yesterday. I still get confused about Facebook sometimes, especially for a Facebook Page. It's different from a Facebook Profile, and messages get hidden here and there. I have to spend more time and figure out how it all works. Then I won't miss messages. 😥
Bangladesh owes its Liberation from Genocide by W. Pakistan to INDIA but you won't know that from a visit to this Museum. The Concert for Bangladesh was organized by Ravi Shankar, a Bengali Hindu who was George Harrison's Guru for not just the Sitar but for Indian religion and culture as well that opened the eyes of the West. DOUG the BORING CANADIAN ( isn't that a given ? ) has got it all bass backwards ! At the time of Independence of India in 1947 the Moslem Majority of E. Bengal joined hands with the Muslim League of Jinnah and started committing Atrocities against the 40% Hindu population and ETHNICALLY CLEANSED most of them ( including my Dad and my Uncles and Grandparents from Sylhet ). Then 25 years later in 1971 they sought help from the very same Bengali Hindus ( incl. my Dad who was by then a Senior Official in the Indian Govt. and had to deal with the Guerilla Army of Bangladesh that sought refuge in W. Bengal the western half of Bengal in India ). I was in College and watched Dogfight between the Indian and Pakistani Air Force, collected the wreckage of a Pakistani Sabre ( US supplied ) , hauled parts of the wreckage to my Dorm for display. Even made a contribution to send Ambulances to Bangladesh after PAKISTAN SURRENDERED TO INDIA,, but you won't see any of that in the Museum either. Being Moslems, the Bangladeshis are aggressive, sneaky .. They have usurped our Hindu Bengali language derived from Sanskrit, shamelessly take credit for Tagore ( a Hindu like the millions who they had Ethnically cleansed ) The first NOVEL LAUREATE in Asia from way back in 1913, but at the same time celebrate Afghan Muslims who INVADED Hindu / Buddhist Bengal ( capital Dhaka is named after a Hindu GODDESS ) , forcibly CONVERTED many to Islam, have now even HIJACKED the Bengali identity. They ought to change their name from Bangladesh to Bakhtiar ( The Afghan Invader ) Desh.
Wow Thank you sir.. for showing the Bangladesh Museum...
It's a good museum. Most of the information was new to me, and the exhibits themselves are done very well. I was glad to visit it. 😃

Bangladesh wasn't part of India. wrong information. Bengali word dhaka mean covered
Indian Empire consisted of many presidencies including Bengal Presidency.
Get your facts corrected.
Where did you read this??
Technically India, Pakistan, Bangladesh were All British colonies
@@Mahirgobrrrrr They were not separate colonies. They were all part of British India.
