- Now this is going back to the good old times. I haven’t made a video like this for a while and I’m glad to be doing it again! Just meandering around my local area off road with no plans or time schedule. Now that’s what I call a day off.

Headset mic is pretty muffled, would be cool to hear the back and forth comms with other trucks when you do group trips though
I'd pass on the headset microphone for future videos mate.
Quality isn't fantastic, and it feels like we're inside a bike helmet or listening to a rally driver conversation.. I think a lapel microphone attached to the seat belt. or even the steering wheel might be your best bet. Might be better to take in the environment noises too which add to the overall feel.

Great video….I agree on the mic issue as others have said here. When are you in Scotland? Would be great to meet for a drive as I live in Glasgow Southside and will buy you a pint in exchange for a Boris sticker for my Defender. Keep up the great work.
I think the audio is fine. You made it clear you are using a boom mic and it just sounds like when you add audio at a later date but we get live commentary during the adventure which is more natural. Great video as always so thank you. One thing I would add is I’d preempt the use of diff lock rather than be putting strain into one hub/driveshaft at a time to avoid breakages.

Head set gave off a pilot commentary sound quality. Not bad but the lapel mics do a better sound.

very muffled sound from the headset - not sure if it is just a cheap microphone that can be improved by swapping out the mic or because it is running some kind of noise suppression to overcome the sound of the LR but either way off putting

I'm now officially embarassed. I can see Haytor from my house but I've never been on any of the green lanes in this video. Didn't even know they existed. On the audio...I'm with others on this, a lapel mike clipped to you may be better although the headset did get me thinking about my other car as an intercom as the road noise can be so bad you can't hear your passenger.

Video was good but it was like someone commentating on it from their toilet I would prefer to hear all the background noise and the splashing of the puddles and the engine working .. sorry not a fan
