Conan's show was very very popular here in Finland. And when he started to mention Finland in his show, that is how you get the attention of Finns even more, because being a small counry all publicity is positive for us and we want to support it. You might have seen that same effect in your subscriber and comment demographics after starting to make Finland videos..
There is like ~80% chance of this effect any time any react channel reacts to anything Finnish; they see all the Finnish viewers flocking in, go "oh wow" and suddenly the channel has a lot more Finnish content. :D

I'm an American in Finland. Cameras are not at all welcome(in your face) in the town I live in. THIS is a different world entirely than USA...Finns are very introverted...
I used to watch Conan with my friend when we were teenagers. She was a crazy fan. I think the fact that Conan is so shameless, is why we like him in Finland.

This is from where the whole idea of Conan abroad came from. It was initially just a quick joke about Conan looking like our at the time female president and they were flabbergasted when finnish mail started to pour in since Conan was/is like The late night guy in here (not that at the time others were even shown, but Conan blends the best with finns).
So they started to make more and more small finn bits that resulted into this.
15:28 It depends on people, but I think many might stare, because people really don't film around here that much.. So stares out of curiosity and then over time probably start ignoring, I think.

I know one of those Finns, who went to see his show... It was all fun and games till he announced his plan to travel to Finland. I remember thinking "Oh, this can't be good". His Finland trip was in the news in Finland and in the US too, he was guest in a local talk show, a guest in a TV gala, met the President of Finland, met Santa,... Trolled the Finnish fans and the locals, also visited someone, who had sent him a postcard,... And he did get to inspect a public men's sauna like he wished. The episode got so good ratings in the US that he went on visiting other countries too. And this was before the YT age. Nowadays celebrities can be spotted even in Finland so commonly that the place has started to remind a tourist destination. He must have endorsed the wrong candidate, though, since his show stopped airing in Finland not long after his visit. Apparently the only Finnish word in English language is 'sauna', and since Finnish sauna culture is on the UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage and the culture might need some explaining, here a video on that to consider: “The sauna culture"Sauna culture in Finland". To turn things around, here are couple of popular recent Finnish travel/food/lifestyle/politics TV series covering the US, ranging from slightly more stereotypical to in depth, maybe: "Burgerimiehet ''THE BURGER MAN'' Song | Burgerimiehet Pohjois-Amerikassa" and "Jaakko Keso Menin Amerikan kouvolaan". And speaking of doppelgängers: "The Music - Getaway".
