I think Vanilla’s ‘quiet rage’ is inspired by Unohana from Bleach. All she has to do is stand firm and smile, and other characters clearly get the message that she’s not messing around and more of a threat than she’s presenting.
And if they get rowdy? Well, I've heard some headcanons on Vanilla being a former GUN agent, so wouldn't be surprised if they added something like that and Vanilla does some sky type stuff
These conclusions were just unsatisfying. Cream is capable of defending herself and I would have written her taking out the skunks on her own or just have the Chaotix come rescue her and Vanilla. The Knuckles one wasn't so bad.
The Restoration's just BEGGING to die as an organization, but maybe it's for the betterment of the comic; burn the last major bridge to Forces so that the story isn't beholden to the whole war thing.
The panels with Vanilla not only proves where Cream gets her strength, but also makes me wonder who Vanilla was in her teenage years before being a mother: can you imagine a side-story about her where we learn she was some sort of legendary huntress/assassin/fighter? My only idea right now was that she was Clutch's right-hand woman until he disappear...
I think my intake is thqt vanilla ks going to whip rough and tumble into shape for the party crashing and food recking. If that the case then that will hilarious 😂.
Considering how strong and healthy Knuckles is, I'd say the fruits and veggies from Angel Island will do the Choatixs wonders. As for Clutch he isn't like EggMan, StarLine, or the other big villains. He'll probably stay out of sight for the most part, working through hired muscle to do his dirty work while he rebuilds both his criminal empire and his public image. The other story this issue well if the Chaotic hadn't shown up when they did things would've gone very differently, I don't think Vanilla would've wanted to accidentally scare Charmy with her STERN MOM ENERGY too. Plus she or Gemerl probably called the cops after ordering that Take-Out.
Of course, he gets lots of exercise too. Not to say the Chaotix don't; but they don't live on and explore a floating island full of jungles, crumbling ruins, and booby traps
Huh, well, this was certainly a nice conclusion and if this is the Finale of the Misadventures Arc, this was quite of a nice way to Setup the Next Arc and I can’t wait to see how this little Game will play out from here on out. Anyway, with this we’re finally on our way to Issue #67, that comes with the return of Surge & Kit, who apparently seems to be a Third Party to this little Meta Game, orchestrated by Clutch, between him and the Restoration, who could screw things up for either one of the or both Sides, it will be interesting what their part to play will be, especially if they end up being the ultimate variable that Clutch didn’t account for, but we’ll see. Regardless, if it is anything about Issue #67 that I am curious about more an anything at the moment, it’s that look that Surge seems to be giving Amy in one of the Covers, i wonder if it means anything and if so, what could it mean?
11:00 To play devil's advocate, they might have let Vanilla keep the skunk brothers for dinner just make sure they that afterwards they won't come back. But that's just one of my guesses. I think it would've better if they were sent away. But maybe it was a way of Vanilla showing mercy.
I was half-and-half on this issue: I thought it was silly that the skunk brothers were fearful of A Vanilla the rabbit; she didn't really display any scary or dangerous traits up until this point. They felt like they were just trying to be goofy, or go to the anime trope of anime mothers can be scary. But all in all, I liked it! The Knuckles part was fine too. I just can't figure out what Clutch's angle was. Was it to be in good terms with Jewel long enough so when the Chaotix returns, he's already too far in the Restoration that he can't be touched? Pretend he never said he was going to be evil? It's like MBM said, the Chaotix know who this guy is
definitely got unohana(bleach)/lucoa(dragon maid) vibes from vanilla's death stare that those skunks deserved. kinda could see the rouges telling clutch about the island with how they were at angel island before & the rabbits moments with the chaotix were rather sweet especially vector and vanilla
I did have a theory about the ending. Considering Jewel unknowingly allowed Mimic to help her in the office, he could've shed his disguise after work on day 1, bound and gagged her, then hid her in a spot where no one would find her, then taking her appearance to allow Clutch into the files on the Restoration and take them down from the inside. So unless Jewel was taken out by Mimic, this was a big mistake on her part.
@@beckthetinkerbot Ian changes his mind on a whim; at first he says that Surge and Kit were kidnapped and brainwashed, now he's not sure whether he wants to keep going with that or have them be genetically engineered pseudo-clones of Sonic and Tails like we all thought they were to begin with. Besides, we don't actually know what he meant by they were gonna stay villains. He never said they would NEVER be redeemed.
I guess Vanilla knew about the brothers' situation beforehand, realized it, or they explained themselves. After scaring them straight, she took pity on them. She is a pretty much the perfect mom and probably didn't like the idea of letting them starve even if they do deserve it. They're just incredibly lucky that she defused the situation instead of Gemerl, cause that would've gotten even more messy. Now the question is will this act of kindness affect Rough and Tumble in the future. I doubt it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they start helping around the house to make up for their actions (and to have a place to stay and get fed). Would let Gemerl to be around Cream more to play or protect her when she's not at home. Or at the very least, they'll be nice to Cream whenever they meet her.
Imagine Cream not been able to put the fire out and it burns the entire house down, Rough & Tumble get away in time and Vanilla arrives just as the 2 criminals for hire run away from her burning house, Cream tells her everything and Vanilla is not happy about it, at Rough & Tumble for coming to steal stuff from her house and at her own daugther for no put the fire out and burning the house down, because of this, Vanilla leaves Cream at an orphanige and never comes back, yeah, that would be a darker ending.
Maybe it's just me, but the Babylon Rogues don't feel like the type to do someone else's dirty work. I see them more as pirates that steal for themselves, so them doing a job for Clutch seems really weird. But then again we get more Rouges content so idk
Look I personally believe, that panel was not kidnapped by doctor eggman they were out on a date and cream just so happened to think that her mother was kidnapped. Granted it's understandable that the relationship is no longer continuing and she's moved over to a much more scaly option. Makes me wonder if she has a particular type? Who knows maybe one day we'll meet her old team?

there have been theories and jokes for a while that Vanilla is way more powerful than she seems
Top 4 strongest sonic characters besides sonic
1 Big the cat
2 Vanilla (angry )
3 cheese
4 Amy rose ( angry)
Vanilla just proved once again my point: Nothing is scarier than a angry mom.
Also, fear the anger of a quiet man, trope
Don't fear of anger fear the mother 💀💀
My Fear Level Spiked through the roof when i seen this 😭😭😭😭😭
IDW is feeding vecnilla fans real good
...Vector attacking as a crocodile when he fights the Babylon Rogues.
Well Cream as managed a lot despite her young age. No doubt she got it from her mother.
I honestly want to see more of Vanilla.
She has been quite the treat in this series.
I really do love the amount screen time the Chaotix have been having in the Idw comics
I've followed sonic comics since archie, so I am glad to see knuckles teaming up with chaotic like the old days.
Never mess with vanilla 😂
Surge said she going to SLAUGHTER everyone and everything Sonic stands for.
She out for BLOOD!
The Sonic comic is going ever more into full manga.
And Honestly It's about time!
What you mean. Is has been since metal virus
Agreed bro Agreed!!!!!! MOMS ARE SCARY WHEN THERE MAD!!!!!!!!!😬😬😬😬😬😬😬
If Vanilla can get the Skunk Brothers to behave, getting Kit and Surge shouldn't be too terribly hard.

There's still infinite who Ian said could come back as he's still alive and whispers whole character is because of forces
@@reggielacey2235 The Restoration is a far bigger bridge than that, and it's the only thing imposing the themes of war on this series as a whole.
I need to catch up on idw Sonic, thanks for still posting it
It seems Vanilla has a mama bear mode after all...
you mean mamma Bunny?

Me:WOW TUMBLE, SCREW YOU! YOU MADE A 6-YEAR-OLD CRY!
Honestly seems outta character for Charmy to be this dumb. He's bratty and doesn't think before doing anything from the last I seen from sonic heroes
I don't think is out of character if he's getting character development
Jet: You used me, Clutch! YOU USED ME!
People have been shipping Amy with Surge. But how will their confrontation go down next issue?
Why ship?
@ Your guess is as good as mine.
Have they even seen each other and if so exchanged a word?
@@Xeno-The-Wanderer Nope, they have not seen each other in person.
Ugh what a horrible ship

Judging from Surge's malicious grin, I think the two have their own plans and are only pretending on joining the Restoration.

The main story was good, but I really hated the Cream story. Way too cheesy and dumb. Hopefully IDW Sonic remembers to keep it's edge.
