The Farm position. The place where good players feast on the reds while their inexperienced team mates soak up the big guns :)
It's not a bad thing, in fact having a player with that much experience and mechanical knowledge is a big plus for your team.
However if you want to do some big things in good tanks learning about the farm position is going to be key.

A lot of people are missing the theme of the vid. It’s not the two specific positions you see In the vid. Those are not the literal farm positions I alluded to in the title. You need to find that farm position each game based on where the team is going and what tanks are featured. You rotate to take advantage of wtfever is going on but you avoid damage and use others to spot for you. The end

The "spot" isn't a specific spot. It's a concept that people can't seem to grasp. Farm positions can change numerous times in a battle depending on where friendly and enemy tanks end up engaging each other. The current player base wants quick tricks to win. There are none. There are winning concepts that people refuse to practice and get good at with experience. Thanks for the vid amigo. Keep em coming!

2 days later this maps are unplayable! All you see its s bunch of players rushing to this spots no matter what! Even if cost them half of the HP! I don't have a problem with you posting this kind of info! But bottom line is not about the position of the tank its s mindset and a balance between those in the front and those doing damage without taking much back and analizing the battle and relocating. And this is what some players don't understand.
you also need muppets to sit in the open and allow you to melt them.

6 seconds, they'll be noobs aged 50+ lol the learning in the game is to split from a group and help from flanks depending on tank, the good players have their spot so support them by driving to rear or red tank to distant them. I can watch the game as I play and as a noob I'll spot red tanks game play and the light blub appears above my head, this game play would only happen once as I'll be ready in a TD peekaboom your health goes down.
Yeah the chieftain got lucky the tds didn't hammer him better. That's a very risk vs reward spot, but he didn't come away. Lucks part of it.
@@roguegen5536 this spot is not risky at all, you only can be fired from the front or the back and at this distance you cant be spotted by the ennemies in front if you dont shoot so all you have to do is to step back after firing.
Anyway you have to be pretty dumb to go to city on this map...

Rather than "good," I would say the M103 was "greedy." From 1:50 to 2:05, the M103 was on tunnel vision on the Tiger 2 with realistically no opportunity to pen it, and ended with a useless shot. A proper play would be to abandon Tiger 2 once it went into the full cover, and use the saved shot on Tier 7 HT AMX to finish it off, thus eliminate its chance from damaging teammates. From 3:07, friendly T-44 was facing T-44 and T49. Instead of eliminating the low HP T49, the M103 decided to farm full damage from T-44. A proper play would be to eliminate T49 to reduce the pressure the friendly T44 was facing. The low HP T49 ended up shooting the friendly T-44 once more. If the M103 took T49, the friendly T-44 would have had extra HP to hold off against the enemy T-44 and the Tortoise. The team would have had higher chance of win (remember that M103 had a challenging ending period facing the Tortoise and the full HP JagdTiger 8.8cm), and the if alive T-44 would have given the M103 additional easier shots on the enemy T-44 and the Tortoise. I think the M103 carried the match because the full HP 8.8cm decided to stop and try a head-on match instead of flanking the M103 to a close range fight and end it with higher DPM prammo.
I wish Bushka comments such possible improvements on the replays so the general audience can be more adept players.

I so agree with you. At first I was like this can't be bushka playing.The way this guy was playing with the M103 was horrible. This guy got lucky. Players that know how to play. M103 would've got wrecked. I can't stand seeing players like this one who can't play with common sense. It pisses me off. seeing how that dude plays......ugh.
You're right, I mistakenly thought that the battle was lost and I focused on doing dmg instead of finishing T49, my mistake
If the t49 has lil more hp I think maybe they woulve lost the game lmao.....going for T44 when you got a lil bugger like t49 to clear is greedy....i do that at the end of games when am sure we are winning but not in the middle lol....even 1 hp and I will clear him anyday everyday

For chieftain, what bushka didn’t tell you: you can shoot it right above the gun through the turret. You can HE the sides with any gun just above the tracks. You can also overmatch the sides with any gun, It literally has less side armor than the tier 8 chieftain so if you see a chieftain side scraping, just shoot it. It will go through.

Nice Info, The chieftain mk 6 is a pain in the ass when shooting at, because of its very crazy armor profile, but thanks to you, I can now easily destroys these chiefs
DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE THE MOST HEAVILY ARMORED TANK ON YOUR TEAM. Read the team list before the battle. If the team needs your armor, then frontline. Pro tip from a unicum in a tournament clan.

Well i am both feeling good by being informed on this but also a bit angry when i see people take those spots and not use them correctly and then they say how “Wow such noob team” and etc...
Those positions dont work. You need a team that spot the enemy. If you can snipe some1, he can snipe you back, thats the rule. But if he s not spoted...
They dont work since these maps are now with different spots. Teams go in different lanes now.
The point of taking a strong strategic position is that it allows YOU to decide when you expose yourself, and how you choose to expose yourself. If you have armor, you can minimize the risk of taking return damage by exposing yourself hull down, or by side scraping. If you don't have armor, you do it purely with situational awareness, poking out when either nobody is pre-aimed, or when the enemies are reloading. You can do this just as well with T34 or a Maus, as in a Nashorn, Rhm Borsig, or SP1C.
Laughs in hellcat
Some tanks can sit in a bush like 100m away from the ennemy and shoot without any prob (hellcat, some light tanks etc... with the camo's on obviously). Or you can just pay attention to where the ennemy is shooting and show up when they aren't looking at you (every med can do that). Heavies are here so the ennemy focuses on them and not on meds or tds
Not quite. I've done over half damage to a number of tanks that couldn't snipe me because they were too far behind cover but I could still snipe them because of exposed turrets and tracks.

the most important rule is to concentrate the fire on the one with less HP, if the first guy would have done that, there would have been more teammates who would have survived. this concept about farm spots is subjective. It all depends on your skills, the tank armor, and most importantly, your team.
When herr noob shot the t44 for more damage instead of killing the t49 that triggered me. He’s not there for helping the team, but for damage.

In Port bay, if you are pushing hill side, a medium with a strong turret can go across river to the outer hill (my go-to farming position) and easily farm tanks. Dead rail has farm positions for mediums and TDs.

The idea of singular positions that are completely overpowered is not a thing in today's Blitz. If a good player gets into a position where he constantly has targets that he can farm off, of course he's not going to move; but this is far from a common thing.
Consistent play comes from good rotations; knowing how to react to changing situations; not getting lucky and being able to point and shoot. With the way most maps are designed now, strong positions are very situational, and most good players know how to dismantle said positions.
The best way to counter a strong position is to just ignore it, and not give it shots. Go kill the rest of the enemies in the meantime. As long as the enemy stays in that "strong" positing, you'll have a numerical advantage, so if you fight somewhere else, you'll have the advantage.
The problem is that this is common sense, so 90% of the players will just keep fighting that hull down T29 or whatever and feed it until they die.
What a lot of these people dont see on the vk 72.01k is that when angling you can turn your turret outside toward open cover so that your gun mantlet is in the way of the weak spot and I don't even have vk 72

Just saying.... I use these ‘farming’ positions pretty much every game when it suits the tank, but it’s never really done anything amazing for me as I used to be at 64% wr but I’m now at 40%. I don’t want to be that guy, but you need at least semi-capable teammates to use these positions effectively and the teams just get worse by the day!

Yeah maybe, but with the low tier changes (especially the luchs nerf) the game dynamic has just faded too much for it to be enjoyable.

That didn’t happen over a week or so, it was over the course of a year/year and a half. I was at ~60% for a couple of years but then it just went down and hasn’t really stopped

Just another typical E100 noob, for them it's always everyone else's fault when they lose. They would use low tier insults such as "hacker" "wallet warrior" "cheater" etc. to cover up for their lack of skill and so that they can come up with a false excuse as to why they got outplayed to feel better for themselves. They never bother to improve as they think they're one of the best in the game already. And they think that: Pay more = more skill and "hax" = win more" but they never think that: practice more = more skill = win more. They never realize the real reason as they why they always lose, it is not because they don't pay enough, it is because they never bother to improve from their below average skill level and they also have very talkative mouths. 90% of the time the E100 players I encounter are like this, total monkeys when playing but talk big and a lot like they know better than a real super unicum player when in reality they don't.
That position on naval frontier has always been a choice spot for me in the FV215B Heavy tank. Hiding the lower plate behind those low walls and, as long as you angle your hull correctly, you are pretty much impervious to anything apart from a 268 firing prammo.

Tips : focus on the weak ones
I have no issue with being farmed off, at any given time the reds need consistent spotting and I may not have line of sight, targets that carry more speed need that free running limited etc. it is frustrating more that people on the front line refuse to use a bit of patience and create situations where they can’t receive consistent damage in doing their current role
it's usually the front line keeping back 4 tanks while the rest try and get their shots in from far, then the heavies get pushed and everyone loses.
Bushka sry to say but u. Are talking nonsense . This guy in the m103 is super lucky -his enemy is worst than him and he is driving a stock tank.

Im too poor to afford a type of device like an ipad, ive allways played on a device with 20 fps at most, 2 days ago I just realized that Blitz is available on Steam and Windows10, I have a decent laptop and it runs it very well. Cant belive I didnt know Blitz was available in windows 10

Suzaku Kururugi i don’t think you understand the vid mate it’s not these two positions it’s the farm position as an idea. Find the spot where you can farm damage off your team mates hp pool these positions just happened to be perfect for where the team went

It is easy for the average players to pick up the concept but hard to practice it in random battles. If they can’t put it to practice they will just end up camping
Also farm spots kind of relies on trash enemies to work
Bushka, I have to disagree. If there is a good spot on a map every good player will know about it, meaning that good players also know how to dig tanks out of those positions. Also, it's quite easy to avoid good spots on a map. No really, Just avoid them. Then anyone occupying the spot can't get shots on you, making their gun worthless, and once they leave the spot, then you challenge it, and hopefully win it. It's not hard. Blitz is a dynamic game, and while yes there are key positions, a position's power can be compromised at any time because play continually shifts. It's when no one moves that these key positions become even more powerful, as good control over them allows you to flank enemies easily, or farm them from a spot where you cannot be penetrated.

M103 didn’t need to aim for tort’s cupola, or tiger 2’s lower plate or unnecessary HEAT spam for mauschen / t-44 etc ... sidescraping against tiger was a fail. Like the video says he was just in a good spot (and fighting noob enemies , but was playing pretty mediocrely.

I’ve said this in the past, but the vast majority of Mastery games are exactly like this. I’ve got over 350 tanks mastered and this is the easiest way to get one for sure.

I do this with the T34 American Heavy Tank, but I stay behind the hill to where they cannot pen my turrent unless they use premium shells. T34 is an awesome tank for me. I am a heavy person so I love T34. My WR in T34 is like 70% and T14 the american premium 5 is at 84%

Good players pros especially take the time in training rooms to find the best positions for what tipe of tank there playing from fire arks or were they can be shot at from those positions in its what makes a better player

Yesterday I had a round on Canal. The matchup was heavy on heavies and TD's. I'm the only light (t92) on my team and they have a light and a td that usually likes to set up on a hill near D. It was an encounter match so I play it safe and make my way to where base A is. Only time I believe a teamate lit up tanks that I wasn't close enough to see was their light tank sitting out in the open by their spawn and td rolling of his nest (where I thought he would be). I bounced between A and C doing 4k damage and 4 kills. Other than 1 hiccup getting a bit to close my light only lit when I popped a corner on the last tank. Someone on my team was bent out of shape because I was "hiding"... He was all butt hurt saying I should of took my light tank down smack dab into the middle of a bunch of heavies.
Not really surprised. Shortly after the round started he took his tank right out in between 3 of theirs gun blazing. Looked at his profile after the battle and wasn't surprised. Bit over 4k battles, 43%wr and average of less than 400 damage..
Bushka please do t 34 3 you need to see how bad the gun (I think guns good it's just the pen and the armor) it's one of the worst (in my opinion) at tier 8 but I love it anyway, please do review/ at least talk about it please.

They are both very strong tanks. It’s a tough choice. It’ll ultimately comedown to which you prefer more, meds or heavies.

Hey Bushka can you do best spots for TD's on Normandy? Both turreted and non-turreted? Or does anyone have any advice, bc that map is pretty tough imho. I usually run the WT and no matter where I go I get smashed bc there's hardly any hard cover and the terrain is unforgiving.

Farming damage isn’t really done on purpose though. It’s just a byproduct of the incompetent players bleeding. If you’re a decent player you will avoid losing hitpoints at all cost, and take advantage of teammates that will bleed anyway.
its a byproduct of people protecting those who aren't using their hit points. usually it's too late to notice that they aren't gonna help the position you created, protecting them with your hotpoints, then everyone gets pushed most of the time and then loss. only thing I can do for selfish players is give them an inactivity downvote

I get the whole find an advantageous position and just drain enemy tanks of their Armor points. My issue is with the placement of hits. I have been looking and looking to find a guide that helps with shot placement. Now, listen, I know it is a game and blah blah. I served in the military and have been interested in Armored Combat for years so I know about Tanks armor, etc. I am having trouble with placing shots into a tanks rear armor, side armor, etc and barely doing any damage. Yet, I show myself while setting a shot up and from 100% dead in front of me I'm destroyed by one or two shots from an interior tank compared to mine. And this happens a lot. It is super frustrating and as much as I enjoy playing WoT Blitz, it makes me just want to uninstall the damn thing and never come back. Of anyone has any input on what I can do to score the same types of damage or more please let me know! Very informative videos though, thank you.

My problem is I’m at the top of the team with damage I spotted almost the entire enemy team and then two people on my team have 0 damage and everyone else has below 1000 and there’s nothing you can do about that

The chieftain got lucky, no red tank decided to rush him until the end, and I feel that the M1 was against bad players, a decent player WONT peek again after getting shot (unless you see that the threat fired/moved)

First Game: It would have been heroic if he hadn't sacrificed his entire team for his damage stat (e.g. he could have cleared the T49, but opted for more damage elsewhere, leaving a derp gun in the game). Impressive damage? Yes. Impressive teammate? Heeeeell nah.

I have to ask: is it a noob thing now to only give your tank 5 rounds of prem ammo? I find it useful not to change ammo during a match except when dealing with armor HE can pen so that way I make full use of the dpm of tanks I play by firing on the reload.
I think that my playstyle is getting a little old given the E-100’s ammo has been buffed since the 2014/15 era and that even though I do extremely well in damage I feel like whenever I’m on a team that goes down a flank where this “farming position” is nonexistent for the vehicle I’m playing that just makes it impossible to win.
