I dug out a stump last week that was about 4.5' down a trench I was digging. Musta took 25or 30 min to get it fangled outta there! Those little tractors are beasts!!
Just wondering how your little red tractor is holding up 1 year later? My first rk 25 never made a full year. The second one has its problems too. I've ran all brands of heavy and light equipment for over 50 years. Keep check on the bolts in the backhoe frame, watch the hangers and pins under the axle plates, check for crakes in the boom and stick, try not to sweep with the bucket, run as low idle as you can, if the tractor lifts or drags lighten up you might get to run it a while without welding much. Let me know if you want to hear what will break even if you baby it.
@@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 mine got to where it would fly out of low range. Took it in June 21. Got it back July 22. Front end wouldn't pull. Took it back august 4. Mechanic said it would likely be ready Monday. Today is the 14. Haven't heard a word from them.
My first experience was similar to yours. Time will hopefully will give us the experience we need. Mike Morgan makes this look way too easy :) Thanks for your channel.
Operating a backhoe takes practice. Just concentrate on small control movements. All newbies over-control, which causes the hoe to lurch and rebound. Small movements and practice will get you there.

What do you think about the rk25 overall? Is it a good tractor. And have you had any problems with it
Overall it has been a great tractor. Only problem was a fuse blew. No issue. I put a new one in it and moved on. Love the rk25

I'm sure the backhoe itself is hard to learn and those big ole roots sure don't help. Getting some good experience
What's the deepest that backhoe will dig?
As I understand it will dig 6.7 feet
