The Domain is back with another Halo Infinite Mega Construx video!
Halo has partnered with Mattel to produce Mega Bloks / Mega Construx toys for over 15 years. This has spanned the release of Halo Wars, Halo Reach and Halo 4-Infinite. With this, they have produced thousands of toys and tens of thousands of pieces.
Mega Brands was formed back in 1967 out of Montreal, Canada. In 2009, they acquired the licence for Halo, originally branded it as "Halo Wars: the Authentic Collectors Series". Soon after, this was dropped to just "Halo Mega Bloks", before its third rebrand into "Halo Mega Construx", a more adult take on the licence. This lasted up until roughly 2021, with a final rebrand into simply "Halo Mega". What comes next for the brand? Only time will tell...
Halo Infinite was delayed from 2020 to 2021. In that time and after it has seen a multitude of issues and delays, but at the heart of this lies a true return to form and a gorgeous campaign. Halo Infinite Season 1 and 2 had a long extended life but Season 3 returned to the original promise of 3 month long seasons. With the return of Forge, Halo Infinite seemed to be in a largely completed form. Season 4 and 5 hit hard, with excellent releases of Firefight KOTH, Infection and dozens of quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, the seasonal format would come to an end with the Spirit of Fire update, dropping the formula all together to be replaced by operations. It's hard to say what the future holds for Halo, but you better believe I'll be along for the ride.

Simon, Your not just the leader of the community, your it’s final hope. I believe that in time, you can somehow revive the company and help it get past this hard time. You may win some battles, but you may loose some. But in the end, if you believe in yourself, you’ll always be successful financially and mentally. Somehow this video…. Never quit UA-cam pursue your dreams I’ve been watching you since 1k subs and I’ve always loved your content even when you didn’t post for months I still waited and anticipated you posting a jewel of a video and heck you inspired me to make halo dioramas and get back into halo. Your videos made my quarantine years go by like a two day weekend never quit UA-cam keep chasing your dreams because one day your dreams will become a reality. Love your content dude ❤

I'm not giving up animation! I've expanded what kinds of animations I do on my channel, but Mega Halo is what got me started! And it's still my favorite thing to animate with! Also you're the GOAT so It's very good news that you're not quitting!

I’m not giving up but I’m certainly thinking about slowing down, it’s very difficult to uphold consistency with animation, mainly because of burn out, I could probably put an animation out every week but I just can’t get the motivation to do that, stop motion is so tedious and intensive and at least from what I’ve experienced, it does not pay back financially.
The sad reality of UA-cam, also doesn’t help that they take 45% of a creators earnings, there should be some sort of threshold system so that smaller creators get more from their work.
I totally agree about that threshold actually! More like how taxes get more dramatic the more you earn. Also, don’t aim for consistency with stop motion, aim for doing the projects you enjoy and improving your craft

Glad you won’t give up, ever since I got my first halo set, I went on UA-cam to see if people were into it like I was, I found the SSMotion and watching those videos of those hauls and reviews, it made me glad I wasn’t the only person who found these sets intriguing. Now that I’m older and being apart of the community, I’m glad to hear you won’t back down, as The SSMotion and The Domain brings a smile to my face

It is really cool to witness a creator evolve throughout the years from the day I watched the haul video with your brother years back to now. You're one of the key figures that inspired me to aim high and as cheesy as I may sound, you inspired me to be an ambitious individual. I only just started collecting halo mega this year. I went pretty hard to say the least, buying as many of the old sets new in box as well as some new sets. I watched a ton of your videos to get the info I needed and to just be entertained in general. I really enjoyed them and found them massively helpful so you gotta keep moving forward, and I appreciate all the work you have put in!

I stopped collecting Mega just before the Halo 4 line started releasing (I was about 11/12 at the time?) and I've only started collecting again now. Its astounding that you've kept this channel going and still have the very same passion you had all that time ago. Not only that, you have cultivated such a strongly knit community around a product which is admittedly, well past its peak in mainstream popularity. I cannot thank you enough Simon for keeping some of my fondest childhood memories alive & re-igniting an old love I had for Mega and the Halo franchise. I've even started collecting again , although it is hard to find what you like here in the UK.

I’ll say that I completely respect your commitment, and also respect if you do stop making videos, it doesn’t strike me as “quitting.” If doing something else will be healthier for you, I hope most people will understand. But again really respect your commitment (and I say this as a new fan who your channel helped me get started collecting)

You inspired me to start animating, and now it has become my favorite hobby. Halo is awesome and Megaconstrux is equally awesome. I'm sitll going to collect all i can. Because this toys are part of my childhood, and i guess now part of adulthood(i'm getting old)

I’m not completely sure what the deal is concerning mega but I will always have a special place in my heart for mega and halo as a whole. It will be a difficult journey but we can, we must prevail. As a certain elite once said “were it so easy”
Simon you have influenced me a lot, before The Domain when you used to be TheSSMotion, I remember staying up watching your live streams back before I had loads of school work lol. You've always been one of my favorite UA-camrs, you make such high quality videos but you're humble and reply to people like me who are no where near your level! But you've also always been the face of Halo Mega for me, even though here in the UK the sets are limited to around 2 per wave. You are in my eyes the heart of this community, everyone who is interested in Halo merchandise knows who you are, so I'm very glad you are not going anywhere!!

I’m done with Halo: Infinite but I’m definitely not done with Halo or Mega.
I thought this was gonna be bad news, really had me for a sec!
One thing I gotta say is keep named/ high rank figures outta battle packs. I think the elite general in the scorpion set makes sense and is awesome, cuz if u army build like me 2-3-5 tanks gives u however many generals not a CO for every battlepack which is supposed to just be cannon fodder. ALSO we NEED a MEDIC figure (besides the ODST hive buster)

Halo Infinite and the paramount show have near killed my interest in the franchise as well. The last few months I've taken to disassembling all of my collection which I started when the first warthog came out, washing the pieces and putting them back together so they look like new. Lost/broke a few pieces along the way especially with the early sets.

It’s mega’s own fault that halo has gone downhill with its sets, continuous terrible distribution and scalpers buying out everything because of that. I will no longer buy any mega products after this year I’d rather save my money than to go through the pain of not being able to get a specific set. But if halo mega does come back and all of mega’s other awesome series like the call of duty sets, black series, destiny and many more I’ll definitely return to it.
Domain your good man I’m glad you are not giving up and maybe one day Mega will be all over the place again.
