whoever printed that didnt know what they were doing, plenty of 3d printed adapters work just fine. printed with petg and 100% infill in the right orientation and theyre just fine. Guy didn't test his own product or had a defective one maybe. That said I want to upgrade mine to this one. lol
@@_CUBED_ 😂😂😂😂 I’ll give you the answer bro 😎…. The wheel are only needed for console players … for pc players you’re connected automatically via usb and on consoles you need to hit the PS button to turn the wheel on … although I should pull the same stunt for sh^* and giggles
@@ouzaitheronin You don't need to on console it auto starts once it senses the usb type a is put in whilst power is on, he meant do you use a button box for A,B,X and Y, the D-Pad, the pause button and action button.
Does it not need those hex nut things in the holes to put the screws in, and does it work with the ts xw? I cant find anything anywhere for adapters that for sure work with the ts xw
I’m not sure what you mean by the hex nuts, and I’m not sure it would work with the tsxw.. if the normal Thrustmaster wheels work on it I think it would work the same as a tx but not sure.. sorry for the lack of help in this comment lol
I put a deep dish wheel with a adapter, when I turn it hard or something when I turn it really it pauses my game and I don’t know if it’s because it has no buttons or something
Can this custom wheel and adapter be used on the PS5? If so I guess I would need the sense controller to get into the game and then switch over. I will be buying my rig for vr2 gran turismo 7 soon so hopefully your advice will work for me. 🤞
It’s a challenge to get the game going because if you start the game with controller it can be funny.. but it is possible, I used this set up on Xbox for a long time!
Yeah I noticed you just have to equip a normal wheel first then remove it and put the custom one on. I'm gonna play around a bit and see if it's worth it.
@@DansGamingVan my only choice is to order one from ebay which i doubt is good. if you have the time and money you should review it ! (assuming you still own your thrustmaster and your hand recovery going good) it would help so many european simracers .

Just wanna add to anybody looking at this adapter. It’s a great adapter but the website is abit shady when it comes to ordering. You can order and still pay for it even though it’s out of stock…. The website DOES NOT TELL YOU ITS OUT OF STOCK!!! I waited 5 weeks for mine to arrive.
I wouldn’t say shady, they are a very small business ran by a guy and his wife I believe. Website issues/stocking issues are something all companies fight
@@DansGamingVan why state the product is in stock when they know it’s not? That’s shady business. It’s absolutely a tactic to make sure someone still buys a product they don’t have. broooo, what a setup. Love it!
Thx sweet custom wheel, mod review, cool dog , and van priceless! cheers
Thank you very much F Pop!
nice job bro and nice wheel good luck
Thanks man!!
Thanks for this video, looking to upgrade to a tx base with this same wheel and adapter . Upgrading from a t150. Any thoughts?
Watch my newer video Thrustmaster TX vs R9 might find some value in it!!
What wheel did you buy? I’m looking to get one I know will work with it.
I believe they are universal but for good measure search for universal steering wheel. A lot of these youtubers use the deep dish wheels too.
how do u like the wheel and adapter setup after a bit of time, and was the weight difference between stock wheel vs aftermarket,
I will make a video soon!
does the adapter work also for the t300 rs gt?
Same question
No sadly. Some adapters are interchangeable but the tmx and t150 need their own.
@vincent.416 what size bolts do u need for the wheel to go into the adapter?
Don’t you need the buttons on the wheel too?

what wheel is it and where plss tell me

do you know of any adapters for the t248? ive found 1 person with it but hes not sharing the link for it at all
does this effect the speed of the wheel spin when force feedback takes effect?
More wheel leverage makes the torque feel like less yes
@@DansGamingVan ok thanks
How do you access menus and stuff once you take off the original wheel with all the buttons on it?
My thoughts exactly
Exactly. I’m trying to figure out the same thing.
Is there any issues when applying this method for use on consoles?
Yes you can't play I would have thought as you have to initialise the wheel with the PS button.
You can still use this on console, this video is when I was only playing on Xbox

Can someone give me the link to the adapter and wheel?

Is there any way to keep the paddle shifters when wheel swapping
yes, buy the 6 hole adaptor
Where can I buy the wheel?

Local hardware and automotive stores like Canadian Tire might have some good deals too! Worth a look.
What do you have to do with the buttons missing?
Controller for that stuff!

Not making sim content if your playing forza
If you say so Mogus

Button box, keyboard or controller
