Got these from Balenciaga.com and have just sold out online. Review of the sock knit speed trainers in the original black/white color combination. These retail for $595 USD.
I normally wear a size 40 (European), but sizing down fits better for these model, so I am comparing a size 40 and 39 (which I kept). Also feature some modeling shots at the end with a couple of different outfits.

Super helpful! I had the same problem, knowing the balenciaga arena 39 was so big that I couldn't even wear them. So for that 1, bought a sz 38 but was frustrated thinking maybe I should have bought the 39. But now I am sure that I made the right choice. -thanks

TO EVERYONE ASKING. I wear a 10.5 US & went with a 42 (9) for my first Speed Trainers. They fit snug but not small. Definitely go down a size ATLEAST. They do run big. I now own 2, both 42 & they fit perfect.

Thank you! Yes, I would recommend sizing down 1, so you should fit a 41. They're very stretchy and unstructured, so both 42 and 41 would work, but I just think the true size might be a little loose if you run in them. Also depends if you're planning to wear them barefoot, with regular or thick socks.

Great review man, best and most helpful I've seen. I'm still struggling with sizing though, EU is confusing the shit out of me. I'm usually a US14, which is a EU 48 I think? Do you think I'd be able to fit into their US 13's? Copping online so I can't try them on.

Thanks! Take a look at your shoes and see what the EU sizing is. Most shoes (even sneakers) these days will have the US, UK, European and Japanese sizing on them. Because these are basically a sock attached to a sole, they will easily stretch to fit, but it's a question of if you want a more snug or loose fit, if you plan to run in these and if you plan on wearing thick socks or go sockless. I would personally recommend sizing 1 down based on your actual EU size if you plan to wear these casually with thin/ankle or no socks. But if you want to be safe, you can get your normal size and add some heel padding if you feel it's too loose. Unfortunately trying it out for yourself is the best way - I just recommend sizing down based on personal experience and what a few other people have told me.

Hi, I'm a size 40 Eur (7 in US) and saw my friend was selling his pair for a cheap price but his size is 41 Eur (8 in US). Do you think sizing up one size would make me walk uncomfortably or would it just be fine? Btw thanks for the informative video :)
Hmmm, it's definitely going to be loose. You'll have to consider adding heel padding (you can find them for like $5) or adding some foam inserts or even some padding at the toe area. And/or also wear thick socks. But if it's a good deal...I would consider going for it; these are selling at retail or above retail price atm.

Hmm, I don't have much experience with how wide fit would work for these. These do stretch easily though, but if you want to be on the safe side and will be wearing socks, then go for your regular size. I'm assuming you are not able to try these on before buying?

UK 7.5 would be a US 8.5 - I think you'd need at least a 40 if not 41

Hi,I`m going to get this shoes for eu39 too. But I`m confused about the toes range cause my feet are around 24.5cm.
If the range is enough I can put extra shoe pads in. Should I take EU39? Does that fits me?
Not sure what you mean. My regular size is 40, so a 39 just fits me more snuggly since it's stretch. So your regular size would work, but you may need pads or thick socks if you don't want the shoe to slip at the heel when you walk/run.

Thanks! It's a slight off-white, not bright white unless you're in direct sunlight.

I've never worn those Adidas, so can't really say if that's true to size or not. Are you the same size wearing loafers/formal shoes? I feel like the Euro sizes are more accurate for those shoes. If you're also a 43.5 Euro in those, then I would consider 43. If they make it in 43.5, it should still fit, I just found that my regular size was looser than I'd like and the shoes feel like they might slip a little when I walk.

I bought mine at Balenciaga.com, checking stock frequently because it's often sold out as you said. Other than that, you may have to preorder or be put on a waiting list either at Balenciaga or dept stores. There's also the reseller market, but there are way too many fakes

Hi, I'm 8US tts narrow feet. I'm 8US for Ultraboost v1/v2 and 8.5US for yeezy v2s. Do I get 40 on these? I'm 7US/40EU for 750 yeezys too. Or do I get 39 for snug fit? Because i tried on 7.5US NMD PK and it's like 1cm big. hope you could see this comment..
I've never tried on those shoes...so I can't really use them as references; however, I don't think wide or narrow feet make a big difference here because they can easily stretch width-wise. To me, it sounds like you should try the 39 first

Not sure why they didn't, but the women's and men's version are just for marketing...how does a black sole make it feminine lol? But it does affect what sizes they churn out.

I got them at Saks I think, Neil Barrett pants. You can only get (new) LV ready to wear at LV, which is where I got them.

I would assume so, these should be roomier than arenas, so even an 11 might fit you better, but I don't own a pair of arenas.

If you're a US size 9, then I think the same logic applies to size down, so you should try on a US size 8 instead (which I believe is a 41 euro).

Probably 41; I'm sure they'd both fit, so it's a matter of your preference in terms of how secure/tight you want these to fit
where were the black pants you were wearing from?
The long pants/jeans? The last two pairs were both from Neil Barrett. The second to last is a neoprene jogger with biker details and the last one is a dark denim with side zippers.

It's $595 and I got them from the website, but it usually gets sold out pretty quickly whenever stock is replenished; you have to check frequently.

How do these fit width-wise? I heard they fit big length-wise it is the same with the width? I'm also a 40 but have rather wide feet
They feel like regular/medium width, but they definitely have stretch to them; however if you have wide feet - it might mean you'll see more stretch, but it'll feel fine.

Hmm I can't give you a definite answer since I don't have wide feet. A lot of it depends on preference of a more snug fit or not. These are so stretchy that it shouldn't make a huge difference, however, you may see more of your feet shape pushing on the fabric if you choose your normal size.

They are very simple, but I like minimalism (believe it or not); however, a bit overpriced for the simplicity and the quality isn't like the best ever. Still, I really dig the style of these shoes once you pair them with outfits.

It sounds like a 40 would have fit better, but never know for sure until you try.

Another thing to consider is if you have wide feet - if so, then I would suggest just going for your regular size instead of sizing down. Also depends on which Nikes you are referring to, e.g., the flyknit racers fit a half to a full size smaller.

For me, it fit better to size down - you should check out the middle part of the video where I actually compare both pairs side by side and decided the 39 fits better for me even though I'm regularly a 40. The 40 fits, but I just find it can slip when I walk.

It'd "fit" because there's very little structure and the material is stretchy, but I think you're going to be uncomfortable, especially if you wear socks
