What is the ratio and/or line retrieve of that reel cause You are reeling it pretty fast (in the beggining of the vid at least :P )??! P.S. Love Gunki stuff - Polish Fan :)!

Rafał Rejnowicz 6,2:1 gear ratio. You don't really have be shy to reel in pretty fast when you're fishing for perch in the summer.

Jesper Andersson Kolla in Leech's brillor. Jag har haft mina med kopparfärgad lins i 2 år, och jag har aldrig vart så nöjd, och då har jag ändå provat ett gäng olika polariserande glasögon.
Här i Sverige brukar de flesta rekommendera att man kör kopparfärgad lins. Det blir inte allt för mörkt och man får en helt sjukt grym kontrast.

when you get the tic tic tic... it is when your lure is too big for the fish to swallow. may be a smaller lure will help.

while I myself do prefer smaller baits, i think you underestimate the size of a fish's mouth.

+Oliver8111 I am sorry man. I thought you were just tried to bust my chops. Anyway, my experience fishing for perch has been a odd one. I fish in the reservoirs that supply water to the city of NY, USA. I don't fish for perch because I found them rather easier quarry in relation to crappies. But I occasionally get bored, so I go for the perch to have something to tug my line. One of the methods I use for that is casting a 3" grub or plastic minnow with a crappie spinner harness. When I get hit is either at once or a tic tic tic... Most of time when the tic tic tic, I can see there were tiny indent on the tail of the grub or the minnow or just missing chunk of it. Then what I do is switch the lure to a 2" grub or a minnow. then I caught them the next cast. But there are rather small fishes. I only do the perch when it is really bad crappie fishing. Because i don't have much of patience waiting for a 1/8 oz jig-spinner setup to drop all the way to the bottom of the lake before retrieving it. The perch here in the lake i fish, they hang out 1 to 2 ft off the bottom of the lake. And they don't get as big as the European perch. And i have not seen them come up the surface for a top water lure like the European variety either.
