Caught my pb perch of 2lb 3oz on a 13cm spikey Shad in hot olive. I cut about 3cm off the head as an ewg hook ripped it to shreds and put it on the back of a spinnerbait.
Nice video. However light jig head might work in a shallow canal and make for a natural presentation. But what would you choose when have to fish down to 10m/30ft and still want a natural fall/presentation?

would you still start with the jig approach even in the deepest of winter conditions when water temps are at the coldest? Just work is slow across the bottom? then move to dropshotting when fish have been located
