these are really great its like he really took what he learn what works and what can elevate and differentiate themselves from funko. i think its at the right price point for what they give but I would have to be super picky about which ones I want.
The interlocking stacking feature is pretty cool, but overall those things are huge. And not being able to take them out of the frame to lower the footprint is a bit of bummer. I get why you may not need to do that, but the option would still be a nice touch.
Honestly, I don't understand where they're going with this. 60 or 70 SKUs at $50 each out of the gate. They're too expensive, they're too big, and you can't even touch them? I get that they're going for the designer toy angle, but you'd have to figure they have a lot of crossover with Funko Pops where people are already strapped for room to store their collection. And then they come in with these things that are the footprint of half a dozen pops. Don't get me wrong they look great but they've made it tremendously difficult on so many levels to support them en masse.
I friggin love these - packaging, limited, detail, size of the figure, overall aesthetic. When they release some licenses I’m excited for (Godzilla, Gizmo, Star Wars, Marvel) I will for sure be picking them up.
they seem pretty cool they almost remind me of the old tvs from when i was a kid where it was a big box and rounded screen but then they just put a nice picture frame around it so it like captures the character and moment from the shows or movies so far the only one that interests me is the skeletor one but im not sure how i really feel about collecting them because they do take up quite a bit more room
I think these are pretty cool. They look really nice and I can see myself maybe getting one or more eventually if they make some I’m actually interested in. They kinda remind me of the VHS/Comic covers from Funko. I like that these look like an older TV. I’m a fan.
The product looks great. The display and the way it's put together looks to me like a paused screen inside a TV. I was alittle sceptical about the price point, but I think the quality of the boxes and the extra touch of the cards male it more acceptable. I think they will fit into people's collection nicely.
Those are very cool collectables from Thrilljoy . I probably wouldn't collect the Pix as the box and packaging is to large . Maybe the mega pix as we can can take product out of box easier. I did notice on the back of the PIX display it has a plastic screw ? I assume its whats holding the figure and means there has to be a way to open them ? I also noticed each figure has the same shaped eyes just as much of the Funkos products do. 🤘🤘
They are definitely cool. But.... a little too big, a little too expensive. imo space & money are 2 of the biggest issues for collectors. Great vid, nice to see the product unboxed and in hand
It’s like looking back at an old picture for nostalgia. It’s cool but they’re too big to collect. I don’t get why the piece is limited to a number but it doesn’t say how many chases there are ? I was confused on that.
Honestly if he stay true to the limited edition piece count. May be a good competitor in the figures space! But people collect what you like.. I am loving these :) bought me a Gandalf and Blue eyed Samarai.
It looks good. I dont like that you can't take the figure out of the display. I guess for how its packaged, got the card and stackable display, it justifies its high price. However, for me, its not something that I can go all in and collect. Its cool to have one but these take up real estate real quick and it would be hard to lug around for autographs.
After seeing your video of the opening, I think that quality and details are there to justify the price point for pix, however I don’t know if that will translate to consumers realizing it. It will be something that maybe I’ll buy one of but don’t see myself as someone at the front of the line to get one.
These would be good to flip lol since there more limited then funko, hmm idk we shall see if they put out some sick designs. It has potential. I do think they should let you touch the figure. Maybe just add a magnet to the frame
Many thoughts I definitely think the sculpts are waaaay better than pops. Are the boxes guaranteed for every piece or just these sent out to social media? Seems like something that would not happen if they start showing up on target shelves etc reminiscing some of the premium feel but we will see. That being said they’re way overpriced for what you are getting imo. They look nice but sorta feel empty to me. The backgrounds are cool, but not interesting, and you still have a relatively small pop sized figure in a huge space. I think these would work better with more dynamic character action and additional vinyl scenery and accessories like a pop ride deluxe etc. to fill out the space. I just feel like collectors who are already starved for space and avoid larger pops and 12” aren’t going to be inclined to have larger boxes with basically the same figure for display. Overall I feel like these could be scaled down 25% and still be effective with the concept but more manageable for collectors and hopefully a tad bit cheaper too. $35-40 seems a better place for something like this. Especially since you can’t take them out of the box it feels less like a collectible figure and more static display piece like a poster or light box for the wall, which feels a bit less interesting to me. It’s a shame too because as I said I think these sculpts and the overall quality does seem a lot better than funko
The sculpts are great, and the fact that the chases are SO different from the regular version is super cool. The boxes come with every figure! To be honest, we were shocked when they told us the price point. We felt the price was a little low for the size and quality.
They look great! but who’s got room for these things? And you know no one’s throwing that box away. I say get rid of the cards and reduce the packaging and the price.
Kinda reminds me of a cross between Funko 5 Stars and Funko SNAPS. Edit- I like thicc boxes but not $50 boxes. Lol. SHEEESHHHHHHHHHH It’s not necessarily trash per se but out of most peoples price ranges. Mischief Toys is far more expensive but is a “designer toy” hence the price point.
It’s a nice product. In a saturated market, people don’t need these. At the price point in a saturated market these are too expensive and bigger in size which is a negative. Hard core collectors will pick these up. They will never hit mass adoption. I project these to be forgettable and barely seen. Barely seen doesn’t mean rare, it means the product is subpar. Can’t wait to see you guys collect and review these on your channel. The option to not be able to take the figure out of the casing was not a good decision, wasn’t a good move! These will be a hard pass for myself!
they're cool collectibles and i do really like the packaging but 5000 pieces is way too high for launch numbers. also they should've put the individual number on the box and the card to match IE #3500/5000, if they want to elevate the presentation compared to a pop go all out. besides i personally feel any item that says it is a limited piece count should number each piece otherwise it is a pointless claim.
Lol Brian said that people would be able to take it out of box and keep it inbox and that the value will stay the same . But now they’re sealing them with a sealed plastic so obviously that’s not how it works. People going to keep them sealed and not open them and if there’s value, it would be worth more being sealed versus being open, he went against his own concept /word lol
Waiting so much the event to see that they ships only on the USA . Bad start in my opinion, only way to buy , being limited number, is on eBay for a 3,4 times more, and that will never happen. So bad had good start, but now are some regular figures which doesn't deserve the high price for international buyers.
And glam photos on the box they say New York comic con but the ones you have does not say new York comic con so I’m starting to get that these are just a viewing and not official New York, exclusive??
$125 isn't bad for a figure that big, in our opinion! We hope to see some Mega Pix in person to really be able to form a true opinion on them, though. 😊
Too big. PoPs take up enough room as is, but they stack and displace nice on shelves, these don't. They look great. I could see getting a few, but collecting, no, size kills it for me. Love the limited nature.
I like them and def going for Van Gogh, and a Xenomorph and the Exorcist (if they make them lol.) Will I collect these like pops or Gastleys? Probably not. Partly because of their size, because I do like the designs and molds of the characters... but mostly because I was hoping the figure was removable. I like taking fun, oob pictures, so in that sense these aren't as versatile as pops or the larger upcoming ThrillJoy MegaPix would be, which i think is pretty sick! I like Pix and think they're super cute! Brian also nailed keeping the product safe during shipping that's for sure! I'm sure that's one of the top complaints at Funko! As space gets limited, so do my Collectible options so those are my top 3 Pix! 🫶🏻
these are really great its like he really took what he learn what works and what can elevate and differentiate themselves from funko. i think its at the right price point for what they give but I would have to be super picky about which ones I want.

well said
The best thing about fonko pops. They don’t take up a lot of space but these do.
I friggin love these - packaging, limited, detail, size of the figure, overall aesthetic. When they release some licenses I’m excited for (Godzilla, Gizmo, Star Wars, Marvel) I will for sure be picking them up.
They look very impressive but due to the size and price point I most likely won't be collecting. I might by the odd one or two.
Seeing these in video, makes me wanna get one
Oooooffffff not for that price point. I’m not paying that much extra just for a box.
they seem pretty cool they almost remind me of the old tvs from when i was a kid where it was a big box and rounded screen but then they just put a nice picture frame around it so it like captures the character and moment from the shows or movies so far the only one that interests me is the skeletor one but im not sure how i really feel about collecting them because they do take up quite a bit more room
This video sold it for me. I want the Tony the Tiger. Looks like an old school rounded TV
I was on the fence about these, but I ordered the Harry Potter (currently the only one I want) after this video -- thanks!
❤️❤️❤️❤️ enjoy!
I think these are pretty cool. They look really nice and I can see myself maybe getting one or more eventually if they make some I’m actually interested in. They kinda remind me of the VHS/Comic covers from Funko. I like that these look like an older TV. I’m a fan.
Looks cool, but that box is just crazy big. That is a huge ask from collectors. Imagine having 2 of these in your bedroom.
Completely understand!
Like the depth to them and the stacking! Very impressive now they've been seen in hand
The product looks great.
The display and the way it's put together looks to me like a paused screen inside a TV.
I was alittle sceptical about the price point, but I think the quality of the boxes and the extra touch of the cards male it more acceptable.
I think they will fit into people's collection nicely.
Wow. I think I'll be checking their collectibles out. I'm curious to see other licenses. Great video💎
It's amazing that you guys got the chase figure and show two videos on the same day.😉👍🌟

Wow it’s big! Takes a lot of space but very cool
I wonder if they will make some Back to The Future Figures for the 40th Anniversary next year😊
They are definitely cool. But.... a little too big, a little too expensive. imo space & money are 2 of the biggest issues for collectors. Great vid, nice to see the product unboxed and in hand
The duck one looks better than the others simply because of the eyes
Oh my darlin oh my darlin oh my daarrrllliin Clemetine 🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️🎵🔵🐶
Also Duck Dodgers and the tv show that came from it is peak
❤️❤️❤️
these look really cool
It’s like looking back at an old picture for nostalgia.
It’s cool but they’re too big to collect.
I don’t get why the piece is limited to a number but it doesn’t say how many chases there are ? I was confused on that.
I like them, probably going to grab one or two at NYCC

There's a lot I like about it, but the things I don't are giving me pause. Still pretty cool though, and always nice seeing new things.

It will be something that maybe I’ll buy one of but don’t see myself as someone at the front of the line to get one.
I can understand the price point for the design of everything but I wonder why a curve back
I don't think it comes across in video as much as in person, but it allows you to see the background from the side very well. It's cool!
@@Gastlecast definitely yea they could stack up in a corner of the room
@sniperjim57 Ooooooh I like that idea! Didn't even think of that!
I’m liking it, hope they expand on other genres
I love it all the pix are kinda big but I definitely wanna collect the mega pix but overall I love the product
These would be good to flip lol since there more limited then funko, hmm idk we shall see if they put out some sick designs. It has potential. I do think they should let you touch the figure. Maybe just add a magnet to the frame
Excellent idea!
those are sweet, love them!
Thrilljoy should partner with Mischief Toys or Abominable Toys, so we can get Pix of Gastley and Chomp. They would be perfect SDCC drops.
The Van Gogh looks amazing too!
Many thoughts

Can you take the figures out without damaging the hard plastic case?
Is it magnetic when you stack them together?
No, they have a plastic lip
I like thilljoy it a nice company hopefully we get more for this company hopefully they do scooby-doo and bendy and the dark revival thilljoy figures
They look great! but who’s got room for these things? And you know no one’s throwing that box away. I say get rid of the cards and reduce the packaging and the price.
Is the wax seal really wax? If so, I would be afraid of it eroding away overtime.
It is not wax, but looks like it!
Kinda reminds me of a cross between Funko 5 Stars and Funko SNAPS.
Edit- I like thicc boxes but not $50 boxes. Lol. SHEEESHHHHHHHHHH
It’s not necessarily trash per se but out of most peoples price ranges. Mischief Toys is far more expensive but is a “designer toy” hence the price point.
Isn't this very similar to what Funko started making really early on? A figure in a tv set or is that a weird day dream I had.
Funko vision they where called

Where can we get them or order them?
It's neat...but (sigh) it's really big. Don't know if I want more stuff to stack?!
They look great and quality packed, but too big for me to collect in quantity.
Thx for sharing.. 🎉
You are welcome!
My friend saw the thrilljoy and called them fancy fisher price little people in a box and now I can’t not see it.
😂

Thinking “influencer/preview” editions or not part of the “5000”, hence not numbered on card

Idk why yours doesn't say comic con on the front
Why would they?
@Gastlecast i thought they would send you the comic con ones.. I got 1 from a guy who was passing them out when I opened it. It said comic con on it
@@halomoon8408 I don't think any of ours were NYCC exclusives. 😊
@Gastlecast that sucks tbh you guys deserve that for how long you've been talking about funko....smh there just mad yiur collectables look better

50 dollars for a pix and 125 for a super pix. Way too high also those things are massive with a lot of empty space.
