Bandai also distributed Thomas Wooden Railway, Golden Bear and Ertl Thomas Toys in Germany during the late 90s.
The Wooden Railway items had different boxes compared to the Learning Curve boxes,
The Wooden Railway and Ertl Tankers also had German text written on the Tankers.
The packaging also had RTL2 written on it, as this channel aired Thomas in Germany at the time.

Nakayoshi is a personal favorite of mine. Even though everything is plastic and stickers, that’s what gives the line it’s charm in my opinion. Also everything is actually more proportionate to how the characters actually are in the show (well most of the time *cough* Spencer). Also fun fact: Nakayoshis are actually the just the Departing Now line just downsized.
