I saw your model and I really want to make a thomas the tank engine model, but i live in brazil so the parts to assemble it go for a pretty penny you see. Any tips Jonjon or literally anyone????
@@TankEngineJonJon Dude, the model is so good, it looks like it actually came from the model set, it's that realistic. You should be proud of yourself, man. Well done.
Words can describe how much the effort, pressure, heart, and soul into this brass gauge one Thomas. The model team of hit should bestowed you as one of them. This really marks anniversary for the HIT era, Well done Tank engine John John! 👍🏻😄
The fact you pushed the effort, heart, detail, Thomas love and not giving up to 1,000,000,000,000 makes this a masterpiece and is one of the best fanmade Thomas models I’ve ever seen in my life. You deserve aaaaalot of respect, amazing job! Keep up the great work! 👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! THE MODEL LOOKS LIKE AN EXACT REPLICA TO THOSE TGD BRASS MODELS, NOT TO MENTION JUST THE QUALITY OF THIS VIDEO GAVE ME A DEEPER APPRECIATION OF THESE REPLICAS, CAUSE JUST LIKE.. HOW?? GOOD JOB DUDE!!!!!!!!!
The smoke unit is awesome, I wanna put a smoke unit in my locomotives sometime, but perhaps with water and an atomizer. Can’t wait to see what other models you’ll make out of brass soon!
Wow just Wow! I can tell that you put a lot of hard work into this model and it looks BEAUTIFUL! I can’t even imagine how much it must have sucked to work with brass but the end product came out really good! Keep up the good work!
This video was posted 9 days ago.But how in the name of Georgian horse stuff?Did you get here eleven days after the thing or something that makes zero sense
Hey, I saw your video of how you made the chassis and the whole body made out of brass and that’s really cool for once. That’s what they used in the TV series of Thomas and friends from the beginning. They never actually made them. They literally had to improvise they actually had to try to make mold of the engines before brass was actually used on the models, but seeing how much you had your ultimate goal of making Thomas it’s really good and I like how you had to go through all that to try to make him I want to give a hint to you. You should try to make Stanley rest too, and then make to be part of it too because already one person had already done it and made Stanley come to life. I literally saw in one person‘s UA-cam channel and you can go see it. It’s literally so cool. You can actually notice the difference as a used his model to go on the park, where the engines literally go to show off I won’t be clear that you should try to take your time on trying to make every single detail to known that you make the models first so make sure to take your time. It always look through and measure how much you will go through it make sure to write it down on your computer. Never try to leave any marks and make sure everything you have is what you need.🎉👍👌🚂✨⭐️
If you were to present this as a thesis for an engineering class, you would get an A. Holy cow. I think more than replicas, you can start to transition this to a full blown animatronics and modeling business. Great job Jon, you are an inspiration.
One of the best replicas I've seen. I love how you present not only the build but the process and choices you made thoughout. Please keep making awesome stuff. :)
seeing thomas roll his eyes with a smile warmed my heart. Like my inner child cheered for joy! Makes me wish they'd make a new series using the original series aethstetics. Even if it's just retelling stories from the cgi version, just no cgi.
That’s crazy dude! Good job! If you didn’t do RC, one of the things you would try to do is divert power through the tracks and give Thomas power. That would probably add like 6 months to this entire thing
This is so cool! If you want more smoke then gearing it up so it chuffs faster works well. It would make most sense for 4 chuffs per wheel revolution since it’s most realistic
Yeah you can finally drop your model and it won't brake anyway do you have smth planned for them? Will you make more of them will you make a series for them?
Would be cool at some point to make figures of Thomas's driver and fireman and how they're depicted in season 1, all the way back in the first episode. Even though there'd be no real way to pose them in the cab, since the motorized components are inside the cab, would still be cool to just have them for static display next to Thomas or something. Hell, maybe you could do the method of how they put crew members in the narrow gauge engines in the TV show and just split them in half down the middle lol.
Hello, after watching all of your gauge1 Thomas models i was inspired and exited to make my very own model. but I ran into a little problem, The Face plate. I can't, for the life of me get the correct face plates for Thomas. So I was wondering if, since you know how to get the faces and stuff that Mabye you could explain to me how the faces and stuff works so that I could Finally make my Gauge 1 Thomas entirely.
Bro woke up and said imma make a brass model. You’ll never guess what happened next. Love your work bro.
Lemme guess? You did *nothing* (the shell has spoken!)
Op sorry. Can I see your thomas? I thought it was a joke.
Ooooohhhh I get it now. Sorry.

The fact that its ACTUAL brass and has smoke coming out of his funnel... This truly is one of the best replicas of s8 thomas.
No he didn’t make that
He broke into Mattel’s storage and stole Thomas’s s8 model
