I visited Spain a couple of years ago and while I share your enthusiasm for this most beautiful country, I planned my visit with a slightly different emphasis in mind. I rented a car in Malaga and toured Andalucia because I wanted to visit the somewhat smaller white hill towns to get a flavor of the Spanish people and culture. Granted, the larger cities have their attractions that are undoubtedly and solely Spanish but they are also filled with tourists and as I said before I wanted the Spanish cultural experience as much as possible. I visited Tarifa (and for 5 minutes as I stood at the gates of the abandoned fort, I was the most southerly person on mainland Europe), Jarez (for the Tio Pepe tour), Arcos de la Frontera, Zahara de la Sierra and Ronda. Before I returned to Malaga, I also visited Granada to see the Alhambra. Here I will certainly agree with you because I was absolutely blown away. This is a destination that cannot be bypassed on a trip to Spain. The host of a British television program, "Secret Spain" said of the Alhambra "this is a place you must see before you die". I couldn't agree more. My visit there will stay with me for the rest of my life. I will most certainly return to Spain and visit some of the sights that you showed in your video. I'm sorry that I made this comment so long but the beauty and the impact of this country cannot be captured in one or two sentences.
