Honestly it's scary. Most guitarists kinda lose their sound and ability bro play solos like on the record often having to improvise but Jeff sounds identical often better than the record.
probably the most nonchalant guitarists in all of metal. plays some of the most complex leads in the entire genre and barely ever looks at the neck. watching Jeff play always makes me contort my head in awe.
+Isaac Sauri Jeff's not playing anything complex in this video. It's all seriously simple stuff, also what the hell was the point in replying just to say you weren't going to reply? That makes no sense.
His tone on their debut album was so sick. Like metal, but still with balls. Something about the midrange. Still has an accurate and killer right hand. Very stylish and creative lead player. I loved Jeff and Annihilator. I was lucky to see them live, on their first 2 tours.
Ten year old video but nice to see Canadian Talent out there in Germany. A big fan of this song as it takes me back to my long hair days. Never got to see them live, maybe not too late. Like the guy with his wife videoing from his phone. She gives him a look as to say "I thought you outgrew this stuff?" and he says "Never. metal til I die" while secretly holding up the horns. HAHA
He’s such a fucking amazing guitarist he plays this (very difficult as far as thrash goes) song flawlessly while making it look insanely easy at the same time
Used to jam in the same building these guys back in early 90s . They were an extremely professional metal band. The bass player was a killer player is well but he got himself messed up in drugs and didn't continue on for too much longer. There is some old footage if you look for it where they are jamming in these old buildings in Victoria BC back in early mid 90s
*Jeff Waters além de ser um guitarrista virtuoso, técnico e muito talentoso, é uma pessoa simpática; um cara bem carismático.* *Annihilator é uma de minhas bandas favoritas.*
I was lucky in privilege enough to have a friend named Tony Bono rest in peace Tony still miss you brother who was in a little band called whiplash and into another back in the day he was sent a cassette demo it was from this man it was the Allison hell demo I highly recommend any out there looking it up it is here on UA-cam from my understanding and please please correct me if I am wrong Jeff was looking for musicians I guess to perform on a tour or on the actual studio album he sent Tony the demo which thank God I still have a copy of where Jeff did all the instruments and sang as I do not care for whoever the hell the guy is that sings the song Alice in hell on the actual album version the song still rips but the demo will always be my favorite. 😎👍👍
No disrespect to Jeff, he’s amazing but Kirk wrote way more memorable and important solos and riffs, he may better but being a good musician is more than shred
He is one of the cleanest playing guitarists I’ve ever heard live…
Check josh Middleton
This guy is impressive, he does not age like everybody, plus, he plays live better than the record, a great songwriter and guitar player.
Ikr? I’m surprised that he’s already in his 50s because looks like he’s still in his 20s :O
Honestly it's scary. Most guitarists kinda lose their sound and ability bro play solos like on the record often having to improvise but Jeff sounds identical often better than the record.
Huge fan since the 80s.
probably the most nonchalant guitarists in all of metal. plays some of the most complex leads in the entire genre and barely ever looks at the neck. watching Jeff play always makes me contort my head in awe.
He's really bloody good but to be honest it's not really complex what he's doing.
+Andrew Emsley LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
+Isaac Sauri What? ahaha
I'm not gonna waste my time answering you, nor replying again.
+Isaac Sauri Jeff's not playing anything complex in this video. It's all seriously simple stuff, also what the hell was the point in replying just to say you weren't going to reply? That makes no sense.
Jeff is insane. Not many artists sound live better than on record. He definitely belongs to that very rare species.
Love Jeff! I remember emailing him in the 90s about his gear and he actually answered back! such a cool guy
I know Jeff doesn't drink, but I'd buy him a beer any day.
Most underrated guitar player
His comfort and his control on guitar are incredible. He is probably the best for these in thrash metal world.
His tone on their debut album was so sick. Like metal, but still with balls. Something about the midrange. Still has an accurate and killer right hand. Very stylish and creative lead player. I loved Jeff and Annihilator. I was lucky to see them live, on their first 2 tours.
this guy makes it look SO easy....what a beast!
I love how he is doing bodily gestures to the lyrics and the guitar breaks. Brilliant.
Jeff may hate playing it, but he loves to play this songs riffs. ;)
what
He may hate to play it but he loves to play it...word UP!
That was one of my favorite albums growing up and still is
Its awesome. I was working out to it today and loved every minute.
A freakin' guitar legend of metal. Just amazing to this day.
Jeff Waters.one of the most belloved artist and great guitar performer in metal history.he is cool and he don't act arrogant.i like him.he seems ok!!
I love how the cool looking Rockabilly style guy in the back ends up shaking his head to the song. That's the power of a good Metal guitar riff.

He’s such a fucking amazing guitarist he plays this (very difficult as far as thrash goes) song flawlessly while making it look insanely easy at the same time
sorry but this isn't "very difficult". especially not for him. it's moderate difficulty at best
@@hazardeur In terms of 80s thrash, this certainly isn’t easy. And I was more talking about how effortless he makes it look
Jeff is AWESOME!!!!
what an amazing feat this composition is....

Jeff - the best metal guitarist in the world!
Remember buying Alice in Hell on cassette tape in 1989. Awesome
Джефф-супергитарист.Насколько легко обращается с инструментом.Как будто родился с гитарой
I hope he still loves playing this song. It’s so incredible. Wary annihilator was so good.
*Jeff Waters além de ser um guitarrista virtuoso, técnico e muito talentoso, é uma pessoa simpática; um cara bem carismático.*
*Annihilator é uma de minhas bandas favoritas.*
I see Rob Marcello on the screen behind Jeff. He is a monster player too. Always a pleasure to watch Jeff play
I'd LOVE to be a band with, Jeff ... great person and musician !!!
He looks so young compared to his contemporaries
Incredible as always, the guitar is just a toy for him. Loved his music for so many years and still love it. Awesome Jeff water 🤘👍😊

Like a fish in the sea! ^^
He's so comfortable with his guitar. Amazing!

ЛЕГЕНДА
Thank you.
Jeff, You are awesome. By far my all time favorite player. I've been trying to buy that damn guitar but can't find it anywhere anymore.

Джефф крут
Гвозди так гвозди
Amazing skill

Jeff 🎸🤟👍
I was there!
Awesome.
Such a classic!
He really nailed that...bravo \m/
Legend!!!!👏👏👏👏🤘👊
he plays so easily compared to every other metal guitarist , he plays at extreme ease .
Speechless
Oh alison ..qe buenos recuerdos!..❤
Personality of Jim Carey and Ryan Reynolds vicious head chopping guitar axe skills of Dead Pool!
He's like Devin Townsend of Thrash
This guy is impossible!!!
Maestro!!!
Крутой ! Офигенно
Great album
Met at a show of mine. Stellar guy.
Este señor mola de la ostia. És cojonudo. Gracias por existir Jeff
Хорош!!!
awesome
Yess!!!!!!!!!! So cool !!!!!!!!!!!
Unbelieveble.....
Jeff's good stuff. Nice V homey.
Le meilleur !!!!!!!!!!!!
Epic song, and by the way it's a nice guitar too.....
Jeff Waters es y será siempre un grande del Thrash Metal
Круто!!!👍👍👍👍👍
I enjoyed that, this guy is good.
if he had joined Megadeth, he wouldn't have lasted long. his skills and creativity were too big for Mustaine to cope with.
A. Nilla-or But above all, the absolute masterpiece Rust in Peace never would've existed so I'm very very glad Jeff didn't join Megadeth and Marty did
Imagine a world without Hangar 18 or The Killing Road solo
two personalities like Mustaine and Waters would not have lasted more than a week together
Not sure why you have to shit on Dave considering all he's done for thrash
@@S-A-CCL The songs were already written when Marty joined, but the leads would obviously never have been the same.
Супер!
I never knew that John Cena played guitar 🤯
what are you saying? that guitar was floating around, no one playin it
Вотерс красавчик,очень симпатичный позитивный дядька.Видно,как кайфует от игры .
Little Alice clapping in the back , ❤
I find most of Annihilator's riffs better structured than megadeth's or metallica's
Где-то Хэммет нервно спрятался за Хэтфилда.
вся суть русскоязычного коммюнити - сравнить и обосрать
He's just a machine... :O
He's way more than good he's a hell of a guitarist actually
What a song
Alison Hell.
Сразу видно что не рыбу чистит
I saw Annihilator in Atlanta touring this album (88-89-90?) back when Rampage was in the band. Awesome, of course.
Amazing and underrated metal guitarist🤘
Da legend
Технично и четко
ahahaahah que figura!!!!
toca muito!!!
Geil, aber hier stimmte irgendwas mit dem Timing nicht. Der Jeff hats auch gemerkt, hat aber durchgezogen. Respekt!!!
Man, I used to love playing this song. Then I fucked up my shoulder and it was bye-bye to playing metal : (
Wow
Annihilator doesnt get the attention it deserves. Jeff is a badass guitar player. He can easily run circles around Kirk.
No disrespect to Jeff, he’s amazing but Kirk wrote way more memorable and important solos and riffs, he may better but being a good musician is more than shred
We need both Jeff's on the same stage, Loomis and Waters
Jeff Waters is such an awesome individual man. With the likes of Darrell Dimebag who loves the audience
🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
Пять баллов! Я подохеревший слегка!!!!
JEFF is THE BEaST
"Yeah the song is done  " xD
