Ogier made it sound like his 1 sec mistake on a junction saw him driving "straight on" for 1km in the wrong direction :)
Nah. Plus, it was a +3 seconds mistake.
He had so much pace before the mistake that the time loss didn't affect him as much as it should've. It was definitely more than 1 sec though. It's incredible how he recovered that time through the remaining kilometers, but it was tight.
Perhaps the Ford has longer gear ratios , but the Toyota engine is clearly more powerful ! In a fine tuned top car , Ott would be invincible with him driving " only 98 % " !
Not agree... We see that Ogier is faster in first, technical and slower section, then Tanak's come back from 1,5 sec behind to about 1 sec advantage in quicker, next section and again Ogier in front in slower section. We see that Tanak isn't fully happy with his Puma's suspension settings.

Ogier win by skills, he is so much faster in corners. Tanak car is really fast on the long straight. This is why Ogier is WRC GOAT !
