omg the anticipation to see this thing on the water is killing me!!! I've been watching since the beginning and this monster is on a whole other level now, wow what a beast of a build man!!!
I would run the half speed pump due to the size of your fuel cell and if you're cruising around you will heat up the fuel in the cell rather quickly also a water to air intercooler would be a solid idea you can get quite slim ones now days
This is still in my top 5 craziest UA-cam builds!!!! Keep up the awesome work cant wait to see this thing on the water!!! I'm surprised Texas speed hasn't sent you a 427 yet
Awesome progress.... All the fiddly "little things" take forever to get done. You're doing it right tho, new fuel pump and filters, proper wiring and cleaning up the exhaust flow.... All things that you would have had to deal with at some point and they could have caused problems with when testing. Good stuff. It is very satisfying to see the proper AN fittings and line being used. It's really cool to see it all come together. 🤟
@@JetSkiBrothers The way I look at it, is that your build is likely more relatable to the average person using their products, than a hotrod specialty shop that builds 6 custom cars a week. Any plan to stop the cavitation at full throttle? It will cause not only a loss of power, but will destroy the impeller fast. When you blipped full throttle, there was a stream of air in the water jet. Not ideal.
STUPID QUESTION: Can you use a Procharger gearbox or a portal (reversed) to increase your impeller speed? The Procharger would be kinda big. The portal would be more compact, but I'm not sure the gears being run in reverse would be durable enough. Thoughts?
Bro! You are such a freaking tease. At least you are posting videos. I'll get an update on my project soon. Awesome work guys. How fast are you expecting that thing to go? Do you know anyone that can fly a drone 100 mph? I've been thinking of some sick videos that we might be able to do when both of our projects are finished.
Haha, I don’t mean to be a tease it’s just the nature of the build. It’s all custom and there is always something else to take care of before I ride it. I’m not sure what the top speed will be but I would like to see 100+ I’m not sure if I know someone who can fly a drone at 100mph. It would be awesome to get our builds in a video together. 👌👍🍻
This project started out as just an over the top cool kind of build but I'm not so sure it won't start to make practical sense. I don't keep up with Skis but I'm sure the 400 or whatever HP motors are on the ragged edge of reliability and very expensive. Just educated guessing. At this point you should be up near the top end of any numbers a stock motor can make on any big budget. I know it didn't build itself but now that you've got the plan down and adapters made it should be easier to start making sense of why this isn't a terrible idea.
Don't rush it... you're too close to being ready. That intake is just asking for something to unknowingly drop in there and cause major damage. At least get a screen to snap over it. Easy, cheap insurance.
Agreed, I am trying to finish the build as fast as I can but without rushing through and missing something important. Probably going to rework the intake at some point
Why did you need 3 fuel pumps? The holley website says the VR1 supports 2100 HP. If that pump can produce 130 psi, than you can produce 390 lbs of fuel pressure with 3 pumps in series. Your flow will be unchanged of course. Why do you need more than 130 psi?
Kinda Shot yourself in the foot with all that huge turbo piping. Its not like a header on an NA car. You can use 2" OD piping. Would have saved a ton of room and raised exh. velocity. Which would make it spool MUCH more quickly than it will with the current piping pre turbo. Made over 1000hp on a 370" LS with 2" off each factory manifold. Just food for thought. I know you aren't going to redo it at this point. Something to consider if you do it again or need additional room one day. But don't sweat the porting and "Smooth flow" It won't make any notable difference on that setup. Can't wait to see it go! Good luck!
How come there's so many professional ls swapped jet ski mechanics in the comments but only one channel that seems to actually own one, just curious how that works 😂
dude remove that intake wayy too restrictive, hot air is better, especially if its intercooled... or is the hull that close to the turbo? just seems like half the flow.
@@FinnTheMilky oh, I see. Well autistic or not most people won’t pick up on exactly what the music is saying. As to say it sets a mood for what you see visually and gives an impression of what I am feeling as I am building this machine. For you to be able to pick that out instantly is pretty cool. Although in this instance the music is putting you in a mood which you don’t want to be in so in that regard it isn’t necessarily the optimal.

Excellent content, I'm anxiously awaiting the "Johnny Quest, Unlimited Hydroplane Conversion"
to allow breaking that 120 MPH barrier... Safety Third...
Wait, what's safety? 🤔😂
Safety third 😂
The coolest sounding LS I have ever heard in my life. Wow. Edit - that’s the coolest sounding engine I have ever heard
Thanks I’m glad you like it 👍
Dude that things sounds like an angry 😡 dog that has been on a leash to long. SOUNDS VICIOUS!!! Love ❤️ IT 😂
Yeah it seems like a caged beast at this point. When it gets unleashed it’s going to be wild

1000% sick
Thanks

Your doing such a great job dude! I love this v8 ski!
Thanks a ton!
I love everything about this and you guys are OK, too!
Great content as always keep up the work brothers.
Thanks! Will do!
I'm so ready to see it action, can only imagine how you feel
Hope that intake won't be able to take a splash

Cool. Have you considered a custom air to water intercooler integrated in the intake water grate as one piece?
Milo is getting so big!! Appreciate the awesome update content on the V8 juicer

I would still some relief holes in that velocity stack so it doesn’t latch onto and empty any important body parts. Like they do with pool drains now.
You need to bling the v8 up people like shiny things chrome those covers awesome job by the way i would love 20 minutes on that badboy
People do like shiny things that’s for sure.
I would suggest you put a SFI spec balancer on the engine. The stock ones are know for flying off.
That's crazy. Never seen nothing like that. That's fire 🔥 bro 👍👍
Thanks Holly.

keep up the hard work i

Great work! @ 91:00 I noticed the jet stream goes whitish suggesting cavataion. Does this go away or reduce with forward motion?
Guy from BoostedBoiz rode a ski that went 103mph. With a fully built rotax engine. Thing actually looked scary to ride

What are you using for a pump if it’s still a modified stock pump you need to shoe horn a or the smaller Berkeley cause that would be crazy terrifying

ok I'm intrigued
