This was really cool. If they could make a proper live action G1 based movie they could animate the transformations based on the masterpiece designs with pace and stylization and it could be a sight to behold
Used this to transform my MP 36, which has always been a little tricky for when following the instructions which I got with it. This video made it as easy as an Energon Pie topped with Oil! It was even quite fun too! Thank you, very much. Till all are One...
Glad to help. I was always most please with how I did the feet. There are a bunch of reviewers that get a bit carried away unfolding the feet unnecessarily.
Done in the right sequence, he actually has no clearance issues and holds positions extremely well. The hardest I've done is actually Fanstoys Rouge because of how floppy she is at the halfway point.
The transformation engineering is cool and all, but also gotta give a shoutout to your cinematography skills. This sort of thing easily could have been grainy and unintelligible, but it's almost beautiful!
Thanks! My only regret is I shot it in two sessions and somehow the lighting color changed. You can see it just after the legs extend out and the hip kibble gets packed into a bundle.
@@peolesdru whatever, this video rocks I would have taken an eternity to transform him following the booklet (which isnt clear) thanks to you, 5 minutes and it was done!
I still like to edit it with pauses, but the speed runs are certainly cool to watch. You can also use a Chrome Plugin called "Frame by Frame for UA-cam" to follow along one frame at a time using the speed run section.
It runs for one full cycle and then begins to repeat while the credits show for 20 seconds. It's funny, I've actually thought about doing one that runs over and over for, like, 10 minutes.
@ted37846 The toy doesn't transform at all like in the cartoon. If you wanted to have him flip into Starscream's hand you'd have to photograph it on green screen with green rigging to hold it in mid-air.
This is amazing. It goes to show that cartoon Transformers are shapeshifters as they require so much panel folding. Beast Wars, Car Robots and the Unicron Trilogy gave us much simpler transformers. It is so hard to find an easy MP transformer like Galaxy Meteor nowadays. Inferno is probably the simplest of the toon formers.
Amazing work, do you have MP Primal and Cheetor? Those and MP Dinobot would be amazing to see once he's released. This must take a lot of work so I respect that you've gotta do what you want to do. It's great owning these things and Transforming them yourself but this feels like the reason these Transformers where made, to be seen without hands handling them so that you can appreciate the engineering. I'm extremely impressed! Just imagine a Transformers TV show using the Masterpieces as "actors" haha, you'd be the guy they'd need for the stock transformations.
Thank you very much! I do indeed have Primal and Cheetor. I will do them eventually. I was thinking of doing Ultra Magnus, but maybe Primal will be next...
I've owned my Megatron since his release, an I am still too scared to transform him. And I'm not normally that scared of MP transformations :) not a criticism of the toy, I'm just weak

Yeah, there's too much magical BS in the movie transformations.
A beautiful animation
Thanks!

BigUps Bro for Posting this Video its a Work of Art!!! 💯💯💯
This...... Was...... AWSUM!!!
Just knowing the transformation, this video could not have been anywhere near easy to pull off. Nice work!!!

this is so cool looking, it must take alot of time. please keep making these
It's a bit of an obsession....
Megatron: i don't always transform, but when i do, its always a Walther P38 and with Dos Energon.
Stay recharged, my friends.
Yet another amazing stop motion
Please keep making clips. This thing is awesome. And is a lot of patience when shooting I feel it is worth watching.
It's the best method for transforming it. Everyone does his feet wrong - they never EVER need to be unfolded like so many do.
I like the faster-motion part at the end the best!
I still like to edit it with pauses, but the speed runs are certainly cool to watch. You can also use a Chrome Plugin called "Frame by Frame for UA-cam" to follow along one frame at a time using the speed run section.
Yeah I like both! I was just bummed that the fast motion was cut off at the end.

Excellent !!!
Thanks! Did you stay for the speed run at 4:20 or so?
Yes, same, but more fast!
For me, it's very good! ;-)
TFs G1, the best ever, hahahah!
Awesome. Absolutely awesome.
Amazing job. Next megatron I want to collect is this one bc of ur video
Amazing
Awesome!!

Takara does a really good job of having a complex figure that is clever. A lot of them turn inside-out.
Guys even though every person who designed a Megatron gun toy just thought " well how the hell am I gonna do this" you gotta admit , they did it
Such heroic nonsense!

Awesome, looking forward to seeing that notification either way!
Primal is up!

Zucchinna Look at the description and follow along one frame at a time.
peolesdru I did it! Your video helped :) now to turn him back...
That's awesome! Did you use the Frame by Frame plugin?
peolesdru
I did not, because I am not good at figuring out how it works, but I paused and rewound your video enough :D
Fair enough. Going frame by frame can be easier to follow, but I'm glad it was helpful either way!
com certeza o mais dificil !!!!
O MP36 é muito complexo, mas não tem problemas de liberação. Design muito bonito.
WOW!
Thanks!
This was almost too easy Starscream.
