Another great video, totally agree with your opinion. Being properly prepared and with experienced mates is the best way to learn. Saves someone having to rescue you😮
Hi from down under. Have a google for ' Living in a bubble ' down here. We use their magnetic inside window covers in our Sprinter 4x4. As well as giving privacy they provide insulation from the cold or heat. They are worth having. Had to have a bit of a chuckle at the reference to " remote area " We recently crossed the Simpson Desert solo as the last part of a 13,500 km trip. $11,000 is the going price for a recovery out of the Simpson apparently. Only to the nearest small town mind you. Hope I never have to know for sure. You might enjoy some of our videos.
Admit it, you're a closet goth really and it was the Whitby goth weekender you went for really! 😉😂The Sisters of Mercy or Joy Division oozing out most of the speakers around!
i love the cleveland way on the moors. its an hour from me but worth the drive. 10m of fun and we normally stop at the cross road and have a brew and a chill. glass help sort the track out up there. just after the cross road half way there is a bit my mate cant do in his freelander. i lost a drone up there once :D great for ham radio to :D
What’s the difference in fuel consumption against your old Landrover ? We are very lucky having lanes like that all over the country , use them properly and with consideration and they will be there for everyone to use
@@davidfuters7152 so that varies massively on speed. The van is 18MPG being rough round town and sat at 70 and 25 on a run at 55-60mph The Landy was 22-25 but I sat everywhere at 60 The big gain for me it the power. It’s as quick as a car and pulls like a train up hills where the Landy acted every bit of a 37 year old Landy campervan.
Cracking vid mate, love going up to the NYM. Have you stayed at the campsite on Greengrasses farm from heartbeat? Think its Grosmont or Goathland cant remember which
😂 I know it’s moaning but you would believe how many comment and msg asking for locations. And it’s always ppl that don’t follow and have never commented before and want everything on a plate. You got me going again 😝
If you actually paid attention to what was said then at no point did I say that. The point was that I’m not spoon feeding locations to ppl that put no effort in then I listed the sites to use. Or was you referring to me saying that ppl should be considerate in the way they use lanes and park ups. I’m always amazed when ppl are so desperate to pick fault they make up things that never happened to do it.
@ there’s a definite whiff of my sh1t don’t stink in this video, you can churn up the tracks, but nobody else dare do the same or they’ll end up on a quad. You do your thing and let others do theirs, you’re not the self-appointed off-road police.
@ amazing how you are the only one to say this out of the thousands that’s watched. At some point you might actually grasp that you just heard what you wanted to hear and at no point did I say what you are accusing me of. More like you are one of the ppl that wanted spoon feeding all the info and got but hurt you didn’t get it.
@ and it’s worrying that you have no grasp of the difference between a van rolling down a track and ppl that tear down the lane off piste looking for obstacles and damage the tracks. Clearly you have zero experience off roading.
It’s funny how the people that are the problem generally don’t realise they’re the problem. Lanes are closed regularly from irresponsible use by people who don’t care or think they know better.

Absolutely. It’s so easy to pick up but so easy to get in trouble if you don’t know.
Rubber dingy rapids bro! Amazing location and great video. I must visit those lane and whitby on day.
Definitely. I recon a weekend starting on the west of north Yorks across to the sea would be good.
Epic vid as always. Cracking views, good times and more memories made. Take it easy dude
Glad you enjoyed it

Great video and always great advice all the time
I appreciate that!
“Not suitable for motor vehicles”…yeah right. Love that you just drive straight by and carry on. Epic scenery.
Ay there is a different between suitable and don’t do it 😂
Excellent video yet again.
Perfect straight forward advice.
Many thanks for taking the time to film and share👍🏻👌🏻✊🏻
Thank you Mack
Top video as always Rich, looks like some great driving over the moors.
Thanks Pete
Very noooooice

great for ham radio to :D
It’s definitely a good spot. I can see how you lost the drone. A has a moment in the clouds
Hope you had some kippers pal
The lane from where the sign is shot up, I cycled down there to link onto the lane to Lealholm
Great entertainment Rich. Would be nice with some snow on those lanes.
I think that is the ultimate for me. We don’t get snow that settles where I live so I love it.
Great vlog, loved watching you doing some of my local lanes. Been wanting to do that first one for a while now.
Is thete a part 2 to this vlog🤔
No mate that was it. From there I got a msg that there was no one at the fort so we headed back early and had the day at home.
Good vid 👍
Thank you.

A technical 😂😂 nice 👍
We all need one for Xmass

I did but it was when I was at school doing Duke of Edinburgh. That brings back memories
😂😂😂😂😂 love your comment at 15-17 mins very diplomatic 🤩

You got me going again 😝
@ 🤣🤣🤣 it scares me that there out there And self building stuff 🔥 ⚠️
@ already got one in the comments moaning 😂
Great vids . Can't beat the NYM . What make and where did you get your jacket please ?
The jacket is brandit. I had to get it sent from Germany to get the Swedish M90 pattern in my size.
@@Bugoutvehiclesuk thanks my vans painted in winter m90 so a matching jacket would be nice 👍
Can I have the pin please for those lanes 😅 good video mate
😂 you should know how many ppl ask me these questions 😂
@ I know I know I get the same 😂😂 we will start a babysitter service soon
Where'd you say that lane was?😂ATB👍👍👍
Ok I deserve it 😝
Where is that trail?
👍🏼🚐🚐👍🏼
I know nothing about 4x4s, could you switch from 4x4 to 2 wheel drive in the defender?👍🏼
No mate that’s permanently 4 wheel drive. But you do have a centre dog lock and a low ratio.
@ thanks 👍🏼
So it’s ok for you and your mates to use those tracks but not anyone else? Bit of an elitist attitude there dude 👎🏻
