The Vandals lost its traditions of being a club and became more of a gang when they expanded. The new bikers had different views more extreme than the old-timers. Johnny couldn’t keep up honestly. His way of handling things was like that of the movies where the idea of the club originally came from.
The true fact is the term Outlaw" was taken too seriously back then, and the public freaked as the fake news sensationalized their activity, along with Look Magazine and Hollywood. It grew out from the demons that were projected into this and other clubs.
This movie takes me back to the year 1965. At that time, I hung around two brothers (siblings) who built a couple of amazing choppers out of two clapped-out cop bikes. I kept my mouth shut and learned a lot about bikes from those two guys. I also remember Bill Ray (with and without Life magazine) and his b/w photos dealing with the Berdoo Hells Angels and a few other MCs. When I first saw some b/w photos by Danny Lyon, I thought that someone who create a documentary or a drama-rama built around the subjects of those photos. Ride safe.
What's up Carnal, the movie was cool but the ending sucked, someone should have avenged Johnny!!! And you have the same name as me carnal, I got 6 generations of Danny Delgado. Were from So.Cal....
Okay I'm in! Wasn't sure if it had what it took to be a real biker film. But sounds like it just might. Sounds like it might have a little bit of the Wild One's in it too. So that is always good
OBVIOSLY it's about the OUTLAWS MC in the mid 1960's. It's not intended to be like the Goodfellas. This reviewer has no clue. It's about an actual motorcycle club. More truth than fiction.
the snippets i've watched look cool, but it doesn't really look like mid 60s. we'd bicycle down to revere beach outside boston to look at the choppers by the water. a year later i bought my first bike, an indian for a hundred fifty bucks. there were a lot more choppers then... not near so many stock-looking things.
Well it's like I was telling Sose the Ghost from Demons Row. When they decided to use the OUTLAWS MC as the so called roll models, that set the bar really fucking high for Real 1% . They drew the attention of the Elite crowd and anything less than a over the top awesome movie was a failure. Then trying to ride off the jack teller thing just showed. They had no confidence in the actor or the director to try and copy someone else. They would have been far better to just make their on movie based on a group of guys that loved that life and the motorcycles they rode .. Just think Easyrider was a legendary film about 2 guys just doing thier thing across country. And was a monster hit... but again 2 guys doing thier thing not trying to ride off the backs of a big club... I've talked with some of the brothers and it's a big thing as to what was the commission for using the OUTLAWS MMC name. !!?? Hells Angels don't give their shit away... ya know ... but yeah I'm with you on this brother.
I actually really liked it. It ends rather abruptly but the woman who the movie stars is actually very charming and she does a great job I think.
Yeah she is great!!Her name’s Jodie Comer 😊
Stop saying 'like' you're not a teenage girl.
I’m buying it on 4K

Dang. If I didn't watch this review, I would've never known this movie existed. It was a good watch! Thanks Danny!

It's the best movie this year. 10/10.

Going to see it in three days. Looked very interesting when first seeing a trailer at the local theater.

He’s just making mention of that freeze frame where Benny gets hit in the head by a shovel. I saw the film. Was nothing like Goodfellas.

Saw it, wasn’t impressed. Very boring
