The Bikeriders - Movie Review

After a couple of delays, the Jeff Nichols film, The Bikeriders, has finally come to theaters! Does the powerhouse of a cast anchored by its 3 leads drive this film forward, or is it a dud right out of the gate? Check out our review and find out!

Honestly, what did you enjoy about it? I thought it was a complete snore. The first third was okay despite being a by-the-numbers, Scorcese style ripoff but it was alright but then it just loses all momentum and the remainder just drags on. A lot of scenes felt like filler that didn't advance the plot (what little plot there was) and the supposed love story had absolutely zero chemistry. Like, yeah, they are together but I couldn't tell you one reason why. In my theatre, some people started talking or playing on their phones while others just got up and left. I was certain I sat there for 3 hours but was shocked to leave and find it was less than two. Obviously taste is subjective but I really don't get what people enjoyed about this movie. It was so boring.
