Nice Job Michael, thanks! Your trailer looks very similar to our Lance 1995, Is it a Lance.
Sorry I did not reply earlier we are on a 3 month road trip so service isn't very good and we have been busy. Thank you Keith, yep we have a 2020 Lance 2575 and we really like it. Are you liking your 1995?
@@thetraveltrailerguy no problem Michael. We are enjoying our 1995, great for just the two of us. I am looking into changing the struts like you did as well! Thanks for this video!
So easy! :)
Just like 1 2 3 :) and its done. Making the video takes longer lol. I hop you guys have been doing well. Have you been able to get out and camp this year?
@@thetraveltrailerguy This year has been a waste for sure. I still hope to go somewhere in a few weeks or a month before it is so cold. I hear you on making the video. LOL Take care!
So far the struts on our Murphy bed or working fine.
I just finished putting the camper to bed for the winter. Starting to get cold!
That's good to hear he struts are still strong. I feel for you having to put it away every winter, I know I would go nuts if I had to stop camping for the winter. Take care and keep living life to the fullest every day.
Your trailer has wheels. No need to put it away.
@@ceciliapetrowsky2572 we are supposed to have 10 to 12 inches of snow by this weekend. We don’t go south because I have heard that the ice doesn’t get very thick in the southern part of the US.
The ice on our lake should be forming Pretty soon and I camp on the ice in the winter in my fish house. Enjoy the rest of the camping season!
I bought the 150 pound struts for our queen bed in our 2022 2205S. Did not work for me. The 150 pounds was to much. Lifting the bed was great, but closing it down it would not stay down. I replaced the factory installed 80 pound struts. I'm wondering what would actually work. Somewhere between 100 to 120 maybe?
Hello again :) Thank you for your service, I appreciate it. I would try the 100 lb and if that does not work for you try the 120 lb struts. www.youtube.com/@thetraveltrailerguy/videos
Mike is this your new trailer? We are looking into a 2506/25FKS and it will have this same bed.
Yes it is we bought a used 2020 2375 Lance Trailer. Its awesome, build really well, has a separate bedroom, large back windows with swivel rockers. Its a couple feet longer than the Rockwood was and is only around 500 pounds heavier. I'll be sharing pictures with the group soon. Here's a video of what it looks like and what it has. Ours has the rear rockers instead of the couch and has a gray fabric interior.

Just replace the old worn struts, ours now lifts with 1 finger
Hello Gregg - the struts I changed out were 3 years old and we added weight to the bed with a topper so we had to upgrade the struts. I think the old ones would have worked without the additional topper
Mattress off maybe?
Yep that would work to make it easier to do but since I had the stick to hold the mattress up I didn't have to remove the mattress :) Thanks for watching and sharing your idea. www.youtube.com/@thetraveltrailerguy/videos
