I love my old 93. It's been a bone stock mountain rig for the last 13 years that I've owned it. Last year I finally started upgrading. The old 3.0 finally wore out at 365,000 miles so I swapped in a 2001 3.4L and installed a rear ARB air locker. It really brought back the love for this old truck!
You guys are awesome! I don't know why it took me until I was into my 40s to start loving 80s model toyotas. I mean when back to the future came out I really wanted martys truck!
I LOVED that this was just wheeling man. Off trail, trail blazing and barely any voice over! love the rigs. Just some good ole boys in some good ole rigs out having a hell of a day. Good stuff!!
Cool video . I’m a Toyota guy from way back . Had an 85 4Runner back in the mid to late 90’s . Was running 35’s when those were big for Toyota’s. Lol . Was locked front and rear and had a marlin dual t case set up .. rock sliders and the whole bit . Was a fun truck . The problem I started having was finding trails that’s were a challenge . Lol Had to basically start running creek beds and making trails through the bush because there was no old roads that were a challenge . Which brings me to my comment.. I’m surprised you don’t get any negative attention with all the “off trail” stuff that you show . Im not complaining one bit .. I’m all for it . I wish we could all do more of this, and make more fun trails to cool places . But I’d hate to see you attract the wrong attention and get the granola heads after you . Off roading in general, be it on dirt bikes .. quads, or trucks .. is dying sport . It’s becoming more and more frowned upon with the current social justice enviro nazi movement on social media . Back when I was more into wheeling .. there was no UA-cam and the internet was just getting started .. so secret wheeling spots stayed secret . The wrong people didn’t ever see what we were doing out there, and the trails we were building . Just wanted to say you may want to show less “off trail” stuff . They will use your videos against you . Otherwise .. great channel and content 👍😎
Your not wrong, the more built our trucks get the harder it has become to find a challenge! But 90% of this video is on the trail, we do trek up a dry creek bed a little bit. I've always wondered if that is actually bad? We are allowed to "mudbog" on Koocanusa when the water is low, why are creek beds different?
Gotta love old Toyotas! Cory's is looking wicked with the 37's and rims that match all the way around lol. Wish we had mountains like that in Nova Scotia!
Heck yeah! 37s look great on Cory's rig, and matching rims all around is definitely ideal! We live right in the Rocky Mountains here in the Kootenays :)
awesome! i gotta get out there with you guys haha! my build is really picking up steam. except for tonight, im burned out and exhausted from work... oh well, im drinking a beer and enjoying your video haha!
Mike Jensen-Fogt I am still running the spool. I find it no big deal to run it on road as long as you don’t mind the hopping on tight corners. The only issue I have with it is the fact it wears tires fairly fast.
These trucks sure take big tires easy, look at tall the wheel well you still have left. I got a lift on my Cherokee, and I am barely tucking the 33s with a trim.
Funny you mentioned that. We just finished taking 15" off that back of the blue truck 😂 Unfortunately my truck I need the 6ft box because I'm still renovating my house and I need the whole box for moving material etc. Once I have a full size truck my bed will be bobbed asap!
Love watching the 90s and 80s Toyota’s wheeling on your channel
Thank you! My buddies seem to keep buying them, perfect for me! Lots of content to come :)

Thank you! I'm glad I found love for these trucks early. Marty's truck is sick!

You'll get there! That is also a good way to spend the evening.
Looks like a good time.. wish I lived closer to the mountains
It always is! Living near mountains is fantastic.
Another great video, watching 37's makes me want 37's lol always the way it is. Cheers 🍻
Thank you! 37s are the best all around tire in my not so professional opinion. Ha
Coffee and offroad time!!
Cheers!
With how clean your truck is you've gotta get some sliders built!!!
I know! Just so many other parts I want to buy 😂 Dual transfer cases are top priority at the moment.
@@DirtGarage Loving the channel! Going 4.7 in one of your cases or 2.3 on both?
Nice... I just bought the double cab 22r 4x4. Having heeps of fun. Cool video
Right on! Thanks for watching.
is cory still running the spool in the back? how is that for for on-road manners?
Yes he is! I'll let him know you asked and get him to reply to your comment :)

Don't you have your taco box on this one? Awesome videos. Love watching them. I was really excited when you got your taco box and using it.
Nope, at this point I just had the stock t-case!
I enjoyed this.
I enjoyed this comment :)
Looks like a fun time. Are those Toyo MTs? I have them on Bobcat. I have been very happy with them.
Yeah dude! Toyo supports the channel and we get a killer deal!

Yup 😂 We clear the 37s without any rubbing or trimming.
Love the 37s. They look good
Right? Totally transformed the look of the budget build.
What happened with the stock truck?? Wanted to see more of it being I do not have the SAS. I would so love to do mine.
I mean it's not stock anymore. We put the 4-5" RC lift kit in it! ua-cam.com/video/lrgrXSZ0d5A/v-deo.html
@@DirtGarage very weird mine looks to sit every bit as high and is stock. But it’s a single cab and that makes it appear a bit taller perhaps.
@@jacobhendrickson8935 In this video it is still stock.
@@DirtGarage oh well that makes sense. Clint I hope you go big sub wise. It’s well deserved. I sure wish there was a group of yotas close to my area.
You got that red one from invermere I saw the ad
Golden actually.
New to old yotas I am fixing to get a 92 4x4 on a 4" lift with 33's. Are you on stock axles and what gears?
So good go the Hilux i have same hilux but duel cab with 37s in Australia
We did not get double cab Hiluxs in Canada. Bet its awesome on 37s!

Is a 95 22r hilux solid axil?
Do you have factory paint on the grey truck?
Nope. That is 1H5 Cement Grey.
Corey’s 37’s look great. Now I’m the guy with small tires! :( haha
You totally are!
