This morning I got off to a bumpy start. Someone had dumped their McDonald's trash on the street in front of my driveway and it triggered in me some negative feelings. As I picked up the trash, I could feel myself feeling more and more angry. Your meditation calmed me. I could feel Smile chasing Anger away with every breath. Thank you.

Thank you Linda, I've been feeling sensitive, vulnerable and isolated. When I stopped going to lots of different things I realised inside I realised I felt lost and disconnected. Your meditation spoke to me so much. It's so gentle and nurturing. I didn't realise I'd got so mentally tired and "off track" thank you so much. I hope to help people in some way one day. Isolation isn't good for is it? But maybe I need this to reconnect with myself, but I'm not sure how xx

Hi Nat, thanks for reaching out. Notice the thoughts are just something that's happening in the moment, they are not all of who you are. Draw your attention away from the thoughts and breathe out any stress caused by the thoughts. Come back to the simple here and now around you, the weight of your body being supported,the movement of your breath etc. Then imagine putting a kind and arm around yourself :-) Hope that helps
I still have a hard time with meditation, I start thinking about a bunch of stuff, especially my mentally abusive ex and I end up crying and crying and crying every time and/or my anger just burst out (inside) and I have to stop the meditation, feels like I can't be left alone with my thoughts. Since about 2013 I have had to fall asleep listening to my shows, they keep me from overthinking, I loose myself in them and are actually helping fall asleep, without them my brain just ruins everything.
I'm really sorry to hear life has dealt you so many hurts Alice. Meditation puts us in touch with how we are really feeling inside and the things that we need to address, which, in general, is a good thing. Tears are healing and anger can be healthy if we use it to move forward to create a better, more fulfilling life for ourselves rather than suppressing it and turning it inwards. Give yourself permission and time to heal. 💖

So many things have happened and meditation is helping for sure, and I know "brain chatter" is normal so I just try let things happen, and try to learn, and heal as you said! We've got a great employee program at work where we can have access to a therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist, and have my first session with a psychologist is coming up in a few weeks! 🤗
Spontaneous tears can happen as a way of releasing something we've been holding in or when a part of us recognise something at a deeper level we've been missing. What ever the reason for your tears Miss Messi, be gentle and kind to yourself. 💖
This really helped me! Today I felt a little down and a little anxious. So I needed a good meditation. My gf has been wanting a daughter lately and my future I imagined me my gf, and our kids walking our dogs with our kids.. I didn’t wanna let go of that thought. How is this uplifting? It's putting me to sleep 😴💤💤 this is for sleepy time meditation, not uplifting and endorphins it has a very tranquilizing and sedative effect on the brain. Better for sleep, that is my honest feedback.

How is this uplifting? It's putting me to sleep 😴💤💤 this is for sleepy time meditation, not uplifting and endorphins it has a very tranquilizing and sedative effect on the brain. Better for sleep, that is my honest feedback.
