    I've never had a chance to check out ML Sound Lab until today. In this video, we're going over a bunch of ML Sound Lab plugins: ML Drums, Amped ML800 2.0, Amped Triple Rev G, and the Amped Block Letter.
    ML Sound Lab also gave me the hookup on the MIKKO 2 cabinet impulse response loader, so we'll have a look to see what that is all about.
    Sit back and let's see what kind of brutality we can muster up with plugins from ML Sound Lab.
    Enjoy!

      This is the music I want to be able to make with your plugins. Not rock or djent. Just saying.

    I've been a fan of ML Sound Lab's plugins since Amped Roots. I picked up ml drums yamz today and I'm a pretty big fan. Glad to see you enjoyed using Mikko's stuff, as his amp sims are typically a first choice for me. I'm hoping that Amped Burger and Amped Ark get 2.0 updates soon

    I'm going to have to mess around with snare tunings and see if that helps. Always learn something new from your videos.

    I like most of the ML Sound Lab stuff but the Mikko2 is simply fantastic!

    Another banger Scott. Keep em coming🤘😁🤘
    That lead tone wasn't working for me though, not the guitar player but the tone itself 🤔

      I think it was the single coils, they were very noisey and had a different flavor to them. I don't have a lot of experience with single coils, so it may have just been that I goofed it!

      We'll put this one under the "guitar tone experimentation" section 🥴

    Damn great song! Always writing sick stuff. I don't know why but the mixing nerd in me really enjoyed watching your session running in the backround.

    Great video as usual. I own most of ML's stuff. They seem to have a very organic sound not overly processed. I feel they give a more natural sound in most cases.

    Love these vids, thanks. Had one question as a neophyte. You mentioned stereo processing and linking the channels together and using inserts. I looked that up and understand that. But in the mix console it looked like both the L and R JCM800 tracks were panned in the center, or one just 2 to the left. How did you get it to sound like it was panned in the audio or my ears fooling me.

    • @ChernobylAudio666
      @ChernobylAudio666  2 місяці тому

      I'm using a plugin called Pan Knob 2 by Boz Digital to do the panning. Good eye! :)

    I grabbed up that ML800 over Black Friday. It’s one of the most versatile amp sims I’ve ever used. I have used it for rock metal and country so far. It really does “the thing” maybe it’s not the absolute heaviest fire breathing chug monster. But if you need that ML sound labs does have some free options that also kick ass. I even prefer ML stuff over NDSP stuff. If you’re considering pulling the trigger on their plugins I say go for it. You know, since I have such an impactful opinion on things and all. iM iMpOrTaNt lol
