Hi Heidi 🌺 . Every thing looks so beautiful in the garden . Bretty flowers . The color of supertunia hoopla vivid orchid with yellow antana and pink verbina is going to be amazing . Have a wonderful day . 🌺🌻🌺
You all are very good with these garden beds you put together. I like almost all of the plants, but I'm really impressed this year with my candy corn spirea. They seem very healthy and the color show is fantastic for a smaller spirea. I know you aren't much of an orange color fan, but it would look so good in the garden with a splash of orange, lol! 😉
Heidi you've gotten me hooked on gold dust. I may use it as a border forever. It was so beautiful last year i had to have it again! Love to hear you singing its praises. Would love to see a video on how you guys manage bugs, especially on petunias. I had a terrible time with mine last year. I previously was a sevin dust user but ive been trying not to use that.
To be honest( knock on wood) we don't have much bug problems that we need to treat for. We had budworms for the first time last year around Labor Day so we just dumped the baskets.
Do you prune the boomerang Lilac after it is done with first blooms or do you leave them? I’m not sure when to prune it to keep blooms coming all season.
My guess on how many plants in that entrance area is based on one plant in one pot kinda situation as you didn't state if they were singular plants in those pots or not and I can't tell on camera lol so i may be miles off if there is multiple in each 😂 so I'm gonna guess 318 plants or 954 plants if there is 3 in each pot to make them look full instantly
These aren't your grandmas petunias 😄 Supertunias are sterile and do not need to be deadheaded. They are self cleaning. Seed petunias are the ones that need to be deadheaded to keep blooming.
My new favorite gardening channel
Awe thank you so much!

Can't wait to see the waterfall garden. I remember last year you thought about making some changes to the plants used there.

We actually do have 3 of them in the south garden and they look great!
Looks like you are in a beautiful area.
Thank you 🌻

Yes you can trim lightly after its first round of blooms. It is not necessary but I feel you get more reblooms this way.
Amsonia ? Do you have a favorite variety ? None of the nurseries in zone 8a carry this plant. I’ve called them all since this video posted
I think Storm Cloud for its dark spring stems and periwinkle blue blooms and String Theory is nice for its fall foliage interest.
@@gardencrossings thank you , now to hunt is on.
What is the very short stuff creeping around the rock at 11:08? It looks so lush!
That is creeping thyme.
My bubblegum supertunia vista are looking bad any tips?
If need be give them a light trim and fertilize. Usually this does the trick.
Thank you! What was the pink salvia at 17:05?
The Fuchsia is Bright
Was looking for a wire vine but I see they are selling out fast on many sites
Yes, it soild out quickly. We start taking preorders in December if you want to plan ahead for next spring
😻😻😻😻😻
Where are all the Surefire Begonias… PW?
I have been looking as well.🤷♀️
They sold out so quick this year. We still have some Cherry Cordial which is my favorite.
I think lantana smells like candy, specifically sweet tarts.
Interesting, I am going to have to take a resmell and see. That is interesting.

550 Plants were in that area.
Around 800 plants
The number was 550!
The trouble with petunias is you have to spend all summer dead heading them. Yikes
The PW ones are self cleaning. No dead-heading required.
