I love my Florida Green. It's very tall with lots of leaves with new growth. However, it's sick. You mentioned bite marks. That describes my plant. I first noticed sticky leaves with some sticky stems. I washed each leaf with soap, then covered each leaf (under each as well ) with Neem oil. The stick sap came back on the top leaves only, so I washed it again. Now I'm looking at each leaf as I walk by. If it happens again, I'll change the Neem oil to a stronger insecticide to hopefully give it a boost. Wish me luck!
Thanks for saying bite marks. I have not read than anywhere else, and the describes exactly what I am looking at.

Sticky is usually scale, isn’t it? I hope not! I’ve never been able to get rid of scale on a plant.

Just got one, 6” pot but a very nice size full plant. The place I got it from is great about having plants in an appropriate potting mix. I’ve just recently bought 5 different climbing philodendrons….though I really have no room for plants that are going to get so large!! Going to pot them all in (very pricey) bioplastic orchid pots from a company called Rosebud.
