How this wasn't a huge hit I have no clue! It's one of my all time favorite songs!
I'm an educated professional. I found myself homeless for an extended period of time. Bob "been there" Segar was always there.
Mama said this was my daddy’s favorite song I never knew him he stayed in prison 30 years of my life
Bob Seger is one of the best songwriters. Seger does not showcase technical guitar wizardry; just pure songwriting. Genius.
This by far the best song Bob has made
Anyone here in 2024 because of Trent Nichols new No Man’s Land video?!? 😈
This guy could not stop making songs that I just loved! Every time I hear his songs, there are such lyrics and phrases, memorable, thoughtful, so good!
I can listen to this song on repeat forever
You're 17 and living at Home. Spring of Your HS Senior Year. It's 1981. You were out all Night with Your Friends. It's 3AM. You and Your Girlfriend pull into Her Driveway. You and Her talk, Etc. She goes in Her House. It's 4AM. You're driving Home and No Man's Land comes on the Radio. Your Day was Complete.
I've been to no man's land. Got lost there for a bit. It took awhile, but I found myself again. Thank you Bob...
We are all heading into "no mans land at this point in time! Time to pray!!!
haven't heard this song in years and it popped up on winning time tonight. such a great song
Listening to this song after 30 years, and I am balling...I remember the lyrics like yesterday...I fell in love with that tune ❤
This should've been a friggin' SINGLE! LOVE this one!
Bob Seger for President 🇺🇸☝️
This album had a profound impact on my life, as I had just completed a 3 yr sentence for drug charges. 2 yrs of my life shot, and I was in a worse mindset when I was released in 79Nov. I was going to a party in Gatlinberg first time I ever heard this in early 1980. Needless to say, by the end of summer 1980 I left my hometown and never looked back. I wore out several cassettes, and CDs of this monumental LP.
There is only one word to define this song, and that is PROFOUND. Bob Seeger isn't just a songsmith or a poet, he's a philosopher, and a bleak one. But this song is somehow majestic! Go figure.
When music was. PURE. KEEP It ALIVE. THANK S
One of the (so many) best Songs ever written by the Great Bob.....
One of my favorite songs ever.
