I'm sorry, I don't understand your question. Perhaps there is a typo...? You can split images for any project that requires a larger image than your printer can produce, i.e. a large mural. You'll just need to piece it together.
Using this method makes a clean cut. The only way to get an overlap is to open the image 2x and make 1 of the trace areas larger. You shouldn't need to do that though. Just leave the border at the cut on one of the prints (will be white), cover it with repositionable glue (the stick type works best) and stick the other half of the image to it. You will get a seamless joint, if done properly.
In Silhouette? Or Cricut? Definitely yes with Silhouette. You just need to turn on the registration marks. It would be a bit different in Cricut, because the print size is very small with Cricut.
@@bigdrizzytv1425 make sure you have "solid fill" selected. If you're at 100% threshold, adjust the other sliders until you get a solid fill. "High Pass" will usually fix that.
@@craftymenagerie6191 oh I figured out how to take it off. It was a square on the left side.. new to this… but I can’t wait to get the hang of it and print larger sizes than my Cricut allows!
You explained how to split an image better /clearer than any other video I've seen. Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for this! :) Is there a way to have a bit of an overlap on one of the two parts to make sure it is as seamless as possible? :)

I hope this is easier than the slice method cause I'm lost there. I'm trying today
I think it is. I could never get the slice to work properly.
Can you save it after you spilt
Yes.
Hi it's me again can I do this to with a print n cut making a large one? 🙄🤣

Was this for an HTV project?
No. HTV isn't printed. You don't need to split HTV or vinyl like this.
So what do I do if the entire square isn’t turning yellow and it has some grey areas?
Adjust the sliders until it's solid.
@@craftymenagerie6191 it’s already at 100

My studio has a square on it and none of the tutorials show that🥺
What do you mean?
